5. Setup

5.1 Installation

The device is designed for plug-and-play installation and is universal for most 12V-24V vehicles, including cars, taxis, motorcycles, and trucks.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

Navigate the monitor's interface using the touchscreen. The main screen displays icons for various functions like Phone, Music, Map, Messages, Video, Car, Calendar, and Settings.

6.2 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

The monitor supports both wireless CarPlay for Apple iPhones and wireless Android Auto for Android phones, allowing seamless integration of your smartphone's features.

For Android Auto:

1. Download the Android Auto app on your Android device.
2. Use your phone to connect to the product's Bluetooth.
3. If the Bluetooth connection is successful, open the Android Auto app and click 'Vehicle an Connection' to successfully connect.

For CarPlay:

1. Use your iPhone to connect to the product's Bluetooth.
2. If the Bluetooth connection is successful, your iPhone will display a message asking if you want to use the CarPlay function. Select 'Enable CarPlay' to connect successfully.
3. If you don't see the CarPlay message on your iPhone, open the 'Settings' app, search for 'CarPlay' and select 'My Vehicles' to turn on the corresponding switch.

6.3 Mirror Link

Mirror Link allows you to display your smartphone's screen directly onto the 7-inch monitor, supporting both iOS and Android devices.

6.4 Bluetooth 5.0

Connect your phone via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and music streaming.

1. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
2. On the monitor, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
3. Select your phone from the list and pair them.
4. Once connected, you can make/receive calls and play music through the monitor.

6.5 Multimedia Playback (USB/TF Card/AUX)

Play music, videos, and view pictures directly from a USB disk or TF card, or connect external audio devices via AUX.

• USB/TF Card: Insert your USB disk into the USB port or TF card into the TF-Card slot. The monitor will automatically detect the media and allow you to browse and play files.
• AUX Input: Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX IN port using the provided AUX cable. Select AUX input on the monitor to play audio through your car's speakers.

6.6 FM Transmitter

Transmit audio from the monitor to your original car radio via FM signal, utilizing your car's speakers for sound output.

1. On the portable MP5 player, choose an FM frequency to transmit, for example, FM 93.6 MHz. When selecting the transmission frequency, avoid overlapping with local broadcast frequencies to prevent signal interference.
2. On your original car radio, search for and tune to the same FM frequency (e.g., FM 93.6 MHz) that the portable MP5 is transmitting on.
3. At this point, the audio from the portable MP5 player will be routed through your original car's speakers.

6.7 Audio Output Methods
