5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Flash
- Locate the Type-C charging port on the side of the F20 flash.
- Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the flash and a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- The red indicator light will be on during charging.
- Once fully charged (approximately 1 hour), the green indicator light will turn on.

5.2 Attaching to Camera
The F20 flash features a standard hot shoe mount for universal compatibility.
- Ensure your camera has a universal hot shoe mount. Refer to Figure 5.2 for examples of compatible and incompatible hot shoe types.
- Slide the hot shoe base of the F20 flash into your camera's hot shoe mount until it is securely seated.
- The flash is designed for instant power-on and use once attached.


6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
To power on the flash, press and hold the Power button. To power off, press and hold the Power button again.
6.2 Adjusting Flash Power
The F20 offers two levels of adjustable light control:
- 1/2 Power: Press the Power button lightly to cycle to this setting. The 1/2 power indicator light will illuminate.
- 1/1 Power (Full Power): Press the Power button lightly again to cycle to this setting. The 1/1 power indicator light will illuminate.
Pressing the power button lightly allows you to switch between these two power settings to achieve different lighting effects.

6.3 Test Flash
To perform a test flash, press the Test Flash Key. This will trigger the flash at the currently selected power setting.

7.1 Flash Not Firing / Powering Off
