Setup

1. Powering the Radio

Your KM0825 radio can be powered by either AC mains electricity or DC batteries.

AC Power Supply:

  2. Connect the provided AC power cord to the "AC IN" socket on the rear of the radio.

DC Battery Power Supply:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the rear of the radio.
  2. Insert four (4) C-type batteries (6V total) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. Note: Batteries are not included. Remove batteries if the radio will not be used for an extended period.

2. Antenna Adjustment

For optimal radio reception, extend the telescopic antenna fully. Adjust its angle and direction to achieve the clearest signal for both FM and AM bands.

Operation

1. Basic Radio Functions

  1. Power On/Off: Use the power switch (usually a rotary knob for volume) to turn the radio on or off.

4. Headphone Use

For private listening, plug standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone output jack located on the side of the radio.

5. Portability
