Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the device in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Laser Lens: Keep the laser lens clean and free from dust or debris to ensure accurate measurements.

Troubleshooting

  • Device does not power on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the Type-C cable and try again.
  • Inaccurate measurements:
    • Check if the laser lens is clean.
    • Ensure the measurement reference point (front/rear) is correctly set for your application.
    • Avoid measuring on highly reflective or transparent surfaces, which can interfere with laser accuracy.
    • Ensure the device is stable during measurement.
  • Laser not visible: The laser is Class 2 (<1mW) and may be difficult to see in bright sunlight. Try to shade the target area or use the device in lower light conditions.
  • Battery drains quickly: Ensure the device is fully charged. If the issue persists, the battery may need replacement (contact support).
