1. Introduction
The PowMr Battery Equalizer is designed to maintain voltage balance across series-connected batteries, thereby extending battery life and improving overall system performance. This device actively shunts current from higher-voltage batteries to lower-voltage batteries until their voltages are nearly identical.
It is suitable for various battery types including Lead-Acid (Gel, Flooded, AGM), LiFePo4, NiCd, and NiMH batteries. The equalizer can be integrated into 24V, 36V, 48V, and other N*12V battery systems.
Important Note: The BE24-N model (24V) is not compatible with lithium batteries. The BE48-N model (48V) is compatible with LiFePo4 batteries.

Key Features:
- Extends battery service life.
- Reduces the need for frequent battery replacement.
- Maintains optimal battery balance.

3. Installation and Wiring
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and effective operation of your battery equalizer. Please follow these instructions carefully.
General Connection Instructions:
- Connect the Red cable to the Battery positive (+) pole.
- Connect the Black cable to the Battery negative (-) pole.
- The White cable connects to the middle connection point between two batteries in a series.
Safety Warning: Avoid any of the terminals touching each other during installation to prevent short circuits.

Wiring Diagrams for Different Systems:
3.1. 24V Battery System (2 x 12V Batteries)
For a 24V system using two 12V batteries, one battery equalizer is required. Connect the equalizer as shown in the diagram below.

3.2. 36V Battery System (3 x 12V Batteries)
For a 36V system using three 12V batteries, two battery equalizers are required. Connect the equalizers as shown in the diagram below.

3.3. 48V Battery System (4 x 12V Batteries)
For a 48V system using four 12V batteries, three battery equalizers are required. Connect the equalizers as shown in the diagram below.

3.4. General N*12V Battery System
The equalizer can be used with any N*12V battery system. The principle remains the same: connect one equalizer for every two 12V batteries in series.

4. Operation
The PowMr Battery Equalizer operates automatically to balance battery voltages in series-connected systems.
4.1. Automatic Balancing
When two or more series-connected batteries are in a charging, discharging, or idle state, their individual voltages may differ. The equalizer detects these differences and begins to balance the batteries:
- For BE24-N: Balancing starts when a voltage difference of 20mV is detected between two batteries.
- For BE48-N: Balancing starts when a voltage difference of 10mV is detected between two batteries.
The equalizer shunts current from the battery with the higher voltage to the battery with the lower voltage until their voltages are nearly equal. This process is continuous and automatic, requiring no manual intervention once installed.
4.2. Interface Indicators (Refer to Figure 4)
- Balanced Working State Area (A & B):
- 'A' indicates the high voltage group.
- 'B' indicates the low voltage group.
- Under Voltage Warning Area (A & B):
- 'A' represents under-voltage for the high voltage area.
- 'B' represents under-voltage for the low voltage group.
- LED Power Indicator: Illuminates to show the device is powered on.
- Le Switch: (Likely LED switch or Light switch) Controls the LED indicators.

5. Maintenance
The PowMr Battery Equalizer is designed for low maintenance. Once installed, it operates automatically. However, periodic checks are recommended:
- Visual Inspection: Periodically check all cable connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion or damage.
- Cleanliness: Keep the equalizer unit clean and free from dust and debris.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the equalizer is installed in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your battery equalizer, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Indicator Lights:
- Check all wiring connections to ensure they are correctly and securely attached to the battery terminals.
- Verify that the battery system voltage is within the operating range of the equalizer (e.g., 24V or 48V nominal).
- Batteries Not Balancing:
- Confirm that the voltage difference between series-connected batteries exceeds the activation threshold (20mV for BE24-N, 10mV for BE48-N).
- Ensure the equalizer is correctly wired to the middle connection point(s) of the battery bank.
- Inspect the batteries themselves for any signs of damage or severe degradation, which might prevent effective balancing.
- Overheating:
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the equalizer.
- Verify that the optimizing current is not continuously at its maximum for prolonged periods, which could indicate a significant imbalance or an undersized equalizer for the application.
If problems persist, please refer to the "Warranty and Support" section for contact information.
7. User Tips
- Unused Wires (BE48-N): If using the BE48-N with fewer than four batteries, any extra wires can be left unconnected. Ensure that the positive and negative terminals of these unused wires do not touch each other to prevent short circuits.
- Connection Flexibility: The equalizer's performance is not affected by whether batteries are connected in series or parallel. It functions correctly in both configurations.
- Continuous Connection: For optimal performance and battery longevity, keep the equalizer connected to your battery system 24 hours a day. It will automatically maintain balance without manual intervention.
- Initial Voltage Check: Before connecting, ensure individual battery voltages are not critically low, as the equalizer requires a minimum voltage (e.g., 2.4V per cell for BE48-N) to operate.
8. Warranty and Support
