3.2. Wiring Diagrams
It is crucial to distinguish between the WiFi and non-WiFi versions, and the specific models for water heating/boiler (K6RH3A) versus electric heating (K6H16A).
K6H16A (16A Electric Heating) Wiring Diagram:

Figure 6: K6H16A Electric Heating Wiring Diagram
For 16A electric heating models, a sensor probe is included. This sensor cable is waterproof and flame-retardant (PVC material) and is designed to last at least 50 years when installed in the ground.

5. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your GEYA Smart WiFi Thermostat, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the screen and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the surface.
- Software Updates: For WiFi versions, regularly check the Cubee Smart (or Tuya Smart Life) app for any available firmware updates for your thermostat. Keeping the software updated ensures the best performance and access to new features.
- Power Cycle: If the thermostat becomes unresponsive, try turning off the power at the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then restore power. This can often resolve minor electronic glitches.
- Avoid Obstructions: Ensure that the thermostat is not covered by furniture, curtains, or other objects that could obstruct its temperature sensor, leading to inaccurate readings.
- Environmental Conditions: Keep the thermostat away from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources (like lamps or appliances) that could affect its temperature sensing accuracy.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your GEYA Smart WiFi Thermostat, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Thermostat Not Turning On:
- Check the power supply to the thermostat. Ensure it is correctly wired and receiving AC95-240V.
- Verify that the circuit breaker for your heating system is not tripped.
- Incorrect Temperature Readings:
- Ensure the thermostat is not exposed to direct sunlight, drafts, or other heat/cold sources.
- For electric heating models, check if the NTC sensor cable is properly connected and not damaged.
- Heating System Not Responding:
- Confirm the thermostat is in the correct operating mode (e.g., heating mode).
- Check the set temperature; it should be higher than the current room temperature for heating to activate.
- Inspect the wiring connections according to the diagrams in Section 3.2. Loose connections can prevent proper operation.
- For water heating/gas boiler systems, ensure the actuators or boiler are receiving the control signal from the thermostat.
- WiFi Connectivity Issues (WiFi Version):
- Ensure your home WiFi network is active and the signal strength is adequate at the thermostat's location.
- Restart your home router and the thermostat.
- Follow the pairing instructions in the app to re-establish the connection if necessary.
- Verify that the Cubee Smart (or Tuya Smart Life) app is updated to the latest version.
- Child Lock Engaged:
- If the screen is locked and unresponsive, refer to the app or the full user guide for instructions on how to disable the child lock feature.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact GEYA customer support for further assistance.
7. User Tips
Based on general user feedback for smart thermostats, here are some tips to enhance your experience:
- Optimal Placement: Install the thermostat on an interior wall, away from direct sunlight, windows, doors, and heat-emitting appliances to ensure accurate temperature readings.
- Leverage Programming: Utilize the weekly programming feature to set different temperatures for various times of the day and week. This can significantly reduce energy consumption without sacrificing comfort.
- Smart Home Integration: If you have a WiFi version, integrate it with your smart home ecosystem (Alexa, Google Home, etc.) for voice control and advanced automation routines.
- Antifreeze Function: Make sure to enable the antifreeze function if you live in an area prone to freezing temperatures, especially if you're away from home for extended periods.
