2. Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions when operating the Awithz P120D spot welder:
- Ensure the power switch is OFF before connecting or disconnecting any components.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding gloves and eye protection, to prevent injury from sparks, heat, and electrical hazards.
- Do not touch the welding pens or workpieces immediately after welding, as they will be hot.
- Operate the machine in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes.
- Keep the work area clean and free of flammable materials.
- Never attempt to weld materials beyond the machine's specified thickness limits.
- Do not place the welding pens in contact with each other or with conductive objects when the machine is powered on.
- Regularly inspect the power cord, welding pens, and connections for damage.

- Power Off: Once welding is complete, turn the power switch to the OFF position and unplug the machine from the power outlet.
6. Maintenance
- Welding Pen Maintenance: The welding pens feature replaceable soldering pins. Regularly inspect the pins for wear and tear. Replace them when necessary to ensure optimal welding performance. Use the included file to clean and sharpen the welding needle tips as needed.
- Cleaning: Keep the main unit and welding pens clean and free of dust and debris. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Heat Dissipation: The P120D is designed with efficient heat dissipation for continuous operation. Ensure the ventilation grilles are not obstructed during use.
- Storage: Store the machine and accessories in a dry, clean environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check the AC power cord connection and ensure the power switch is ON. Verify the power outlet is functional.
- Weak Welds: Adjust the 'Gear Position' or 'Trigger Time' settings. Ensure the welding pen tips are clean and sharp. Verify the material thickness is within the machine's capabilities.
- Overheating: If the machine feels excessively hot, allow it to cool down. Ensure ventilation grilles are clear. Reduce the intensity or duration of welding tasks.
- Inconsistent Welds: Ensure firm and consistent pressure is applied to the welding pens. Check for proper contact between the welding tips and the workpiece.
