5.2 Anti-Cat Eye Function

The lock features an anti-cat eye structure. This function can be enabled or disabled via the lock settings or the ORVIBO Home app to prevent unauthorized unlocking from the inside using a "cat eye" viewer.

5.3 Smart Home Integration

The ORVIBO C1 can be integrated into your smart home ecosystem. Use the ORVIBO Home app to link your lock with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control capabilities. For example, you can say, "Alexa, lock the front door" or "Hey Google, is the front door locked?"

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Replacement

The lock is powered by four AA batteries, offering approximately 400 days of use. When the battery level is low, the lock will issue a local low voltage alarm and send a notification to your ORVIBO Home app.

  1. Locate the battery cover on the rear panel of the lock (see Figure 1).
  2. Remove the cover and replace the old AA batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Replace the battery cover securely.

6.2 Emergency Power Supply

If the batteries completely drain before replacement, you can use a Type-C cable to connect an external power bank to the emergency power supply port located at the bottom of the front panel (see Figure 2) to temporarily power the lock and gain access.

6.3 Cleaning

Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
