7. Operating Instructions

The Bi-LED Projector Lens features both high and low beam functions. Once installed and powered, the headlight system will operate as follows:

  • Low Beam: Provides a focused light pattern for general driving, designed to illuminate the road ahead without dazzling oncoming traffic.
  • High Beam: Activates a broader and more intense light output for maximum visibility, typically used on unlit roads or when no other vehicles are present.

Switching between low and high beams is controlled by your vehicle's standard headlight switch. The integrated solenoid within the projector lens manages this transition.

8. Maintenance

The RACBOX Bi-LED Projector Lens Headlight Bulbs are designed for long-term, maintenance-free operation. However, to ensure optimal performance and longevity, consider the following:

  • Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean the outer surface of your vehicle's headlight assembly to remove dirt, dust, and debris that may obstruct light output. Use a soft cloth and a mild cleaning solution.
  • Inspection: Occasionally inspect the wiring connections and the physical condition of the projector lenses for any signs of damage or loose connections.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals on the lens or housing, as this may damage the materials.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Light Does Not Turn On: If the light fails to illuminate after installation, first check the plug polarity and reverse it if necessary. Ensure all connections are secure and the vehicle's power supply is functioning correctly.
  • Dim or Flickering Light: Check for loose wiring connections or insufficient power supply. Ensure the LED driver is properly connected and functioning.
  • Improper Beam Pattern: Verify that the projector lens is correctly seated and aligned within the headlight housing. Ensure the correct LHD/RHD version is installed for your vehicle's steering configuration.
  • Condensation Inside Headlight: While the product is IP67 waterproof, condensation can sometimes occur due to temperature differences. Ensure the headlight assembly is properly sealed and vented. If persistent, inspect for cracks or improper sealing of the overall headlight unit.
