5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the keyboard with a soft, dry cloth.
  • For deeper cleaning, use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the keyboard's finish or keycaps.
  • Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the keyboard. Apply to a cloth first.

5.2. Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable or a compatible DC5V power source.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Connection Issues

  • Keyboard not connecting via Bluetooth: Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth mode and in pairing mode (blue light flashing quickly). Check your device's Bluetooth settings and try re-pairing. If issues persist, try restoring keyboard defaults (FN + ESC for 3 seconds).
  • 2.4G wireless connection unstable: Ensure the 2.4G receiver is securely plugged into a USB port. Try a different USB port. Ensure the keyboard is in 2.4G mode and re-initiate pairing if necessary (FN + ~ for 3 seconds).
  • Wired connection not working: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB-C cable or USB port.

6.2. RGB Lighting Problems

  • RGB lights not working: Ensure the keyboard is powered on. Try cycling through lighting effects using FN + V. Check the web driver software for any lighting configuration issues.

6.3. Key Response/Lag

  • Input lag or unresponsive keys: For optimal performance, especially in gaming, use the wired or 2.4G wireless connection mode, which offers higher report rates (1000Hz and 8000Hz respectively) compared to Bluetooth (125Hz). Ensure the keyboard's battery is sufficiently charged.

6.4. Resetting to Factory Defaults

  • If you encounter persistent issues, long-press FN + ESC for 3 seconds to reset the keyboard to its factory default settings. Note that this will clear all custom settings and paired Bluetooth devices.

8. User Tips

  • Optimize for Gaming: For competitive gaming, always prefer the wired or 2.4G wireless connection to benefit from the highest report rates and lowest latency.
  • Customize with Software: Utilize the dedicated web driver software (accessed via FN + M) to customize key bindings, macros, and advanced RGB lighting effects to suit your preferences.
  • Experiment with Switches: If your keyboard is hot-swappable, consider experimenting with different magnetic switch types to find the feel that best suits your typing or gaming style.
  • Battery Management: To maximize battery longevity, avoid leaving the keyboard fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods. A partial charge (e.g., 20-80%) is often ideal for long-term health.
