4. Setup

4.1 Physical Installation

The VHD20H camera offers versatile installation options to suit various room layouts:

  • Desktop Mount: Place the camera on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Power Supply: Connect the DC 12V power adapter to the camera's power input port.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Connect the power adapter to turn on the camera. The power indicator light will illuminate. Disconnect the power adapter to turn off the camera.

5.2 PTZ Control

Use the IR remote control or a serial joystick (connected via RS232/RS485) to control the camera's pan, tilt, and zoom functions. The camera supports 350° horizontal rotation (±175°) and 180° vertical rotation (±90°).

5.3 Preset Settings

The camera allows you to save and recall specific camera positions (pan, tilt, zoom, focus) as presets. This is useful for quickly switching between different views in a meeting room.

Q: Video quality is poor or blurry.
A: Check the lighting conditions in the room. The camera features 2D and 3D noise reduction for various lighting. Ensure the lens is clean. If using zoom, allow the auto-focus to adjust. Verify your software settings are configured for 1080p resolution and appropriate frame rate.
Q: PTZ control is not responding.

Q: Can the camera be mounted upside down?
