4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure the coffee scale is fully charged. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the scale's charging port and to a suitable USB power source. The charging port is located on the side of the scale.

4.2 Placement and Anti-slip Mat

Place the coffee scale on a flat, stable surface. For enhanced stability and to prevent movement during weighing, place the anti-slip mat on the weighing platform of the scale.

4.3 Wireless Display Unit

The wireless display unit connects automatically to the main scale. It features a magnetic back, allowing it to be conveniently placed on metallic surfaces or simply next to your brewing setup for easy monitoring from a distance.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the power button (usually marked with or a power symbol) on the scale to turn it on.
  • Press and hold the power button to turn it off.

5.2 Weighing

  1. Place the item to be weighed directly on the weighing platform or on a container.
  2. The weight will be displayed on both the main scale display and the wireless display unit.

5.3 Tare Function

The one-touch tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container to measure only the contents.

  1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
  2. Press the Tare button (usually marked with T or a tare symbol). The display will reset to zero.
  3. Add your ingredients to the container; only the weight of the ingredients will be displayed.

5.4 Unit Switching (g/oz)

To switch between grams (g) and ounces (oz), press the Unit button (usually marked with U or 'g/oz'). The current unit will be indicated on the display.

5.5 Timer Function

The scale includes a built-in timer, accurate to 1 second, ideal for monitoring brewing time.

  • To start the timer, press the Timer button (usually marked with a clock symbol).
  • Press again to pause/resume.
  • Press and hold the Timer button to reset it to zero.

5.6 Brewing Modes

The scale supports 5 brewing modes. Specific instructions for each mode are typically detailed in the included user manual. Please refer to the physical manual for advanced mode operations.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the scale and wireless display unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not immerse the scale or display unit in water or use abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.

6.2 Storage

  • Store the scale in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Scale does not turn on Low battery or no power. Charge the scale using the provided Type-C cable.
Inaccurate readings Unstable surface, scale not tared, or exceeding maximum capacity. Place on a flat, stable surface. Use the tare function. Ensure weight is within 3kg limit.
Wireless display not connecting Out of range or interference. Ensure the wireless display is close to the main scale. Restart both units.
Timer not working Incorrect button press. Refer to section 5.5 for correct timer operation.
