Dooya DC Rolling Code Remote Control User Manual

For use with Dooya brand built-in RF433.05-434.79HZ rolling code motors.

1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the Dooya DC series rolling code remote controls, including models DC2700AM, DC2760AM, and DC2702D. These remote controls are designed exclusively for operating Dooya brand built-in RF433.05-434.79HZ rolling code motors, commonly used for blinds, curtains, and other automated window treatments. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and longevity of your device.

2. Product Overview

The Dooya DC remote controls offer convenient wireless operation for your Dooya motors. Each model provides different channel capabilities:

  • DC2700AM: Single channel remote controller, designed to control one motor.
  • DC2760AM: Dual channel remote controller, capable of controlling two motors independently.
  • DC2702D: 15-channel remote controller, allowing control of up to 15 individual motors or groups of motors.

All models feature a sleek, handheld design and come with a wall-mounting bracket for easy storage and access.

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

Batteries are not included with the remote control due to shipping limitations. Please purchase the correct battery type for your model:

  • DC2700AM / DC2760AM: Requires 2x AAA (7#) 3VDC batteries.
  • DC2702D: Requires 1x CR2032 3VDC button cell battery.

To install the battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide or unclip the cover to open it.
  3. Insert the battery(ies) according to the polarity markings (+/-) inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. Pairing with Dooya Motor

These remote controls are designed to work with Dooya brand built-in RF433.05-434.79HZ rolling code motors. The specific pairing procedure may vary depending on your motor model. Please refer to the instruction manual provided with your Dooya motor for detailed pairing instructions. Generally, the process involves putting the motor into a programming mode and then sending a signal from the remote control.

4.3. Wall Mount Installation

Each remote control comes with a wall-mounting bracket. To install:

  1. Choose a convenient location for your remote control.
  2. Use the provided screws to attach the bracket to the wall.
  3. Slide the remote control into the bracket.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the remote control is paired with your Dooya motor(s), you can operate them using the buttons. The button functions are generally consistent across models, with channel selection being the primary difference.

5.1. Common Button Functions

  • Open (开): Moves the curtain/blind to the fully open position.
  • Stop (停): Stops the curtain/blind at its current position.
  • Close (关): Moves the curtain/blind to the fully closed position.

5.2. Model-Specific Operations

DC2700AM (Single Channel)

This remote has dedicated buttons for Open, Stop, and Close. Simply press the desired button to control the paired motor.

DC2760AM (Dual Channel)

This remote allows control of two motors or groups. It typically has two sets of Open, Stop, and Close buttons, one for each channel (e.g., '布开'/'布停'/'布关' for one channel and '纱开'/'纱停'/'纱关' for the other). Press the buttons corresponding to the channel you wish to control.

DC2702D (15 Channel)

This remote features a display and channel selection buttons ('通道-' and '通道+').

  1. Select Channel: Use the '通道-' (Channel Down) and '通道+' (Channel Up) buttons to cycle through the available channels (1-15) or the 'All' channel. The selected channel number will be shown on the display.
  2. Control Motor: Once the desired channel is selected, use the Open (开), Stop (停), and Close (关) buttons to operate the motor(s) assigned to that channel.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

When the remote control's range decreases or it becomes unresponsive, it's likely time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1 to replace the old battery with a new one of the correct type.

6.2. Cleaning

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or wet cloths, as these can damage the device or its electronics.

6.3. Storage

Store the remote control in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Use the provided wall mount to keep it secure and easily accessible.

7. Troubleshooting

Remote control is unresponsive:
  • Check if the battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace the battery if necessary.
  • Ensure the remote is within range of the motor.
  • Verify that the remote control is properly paired with the motor. If not, refer to your motor's manual for pairing instructions.
  • Check for any obstructions between the remote and the motor that might block the signal.
Motor does not respond to specific channels (DC2702D):
  • Ensure the correct channel is selected on the remote's display.
  • Verify that the motor is correctly assigned to the selected channel. Refer to your motor's manual for channel assignment procedures.
Reduced operating range:
  • Replace the battery with a fresh one.
  • Minimize sources of radio interference (e.g., other wireless devices, large metal objects).

8. Warranty and Support

8.1. Warranty Information

This Dooya remote control comes with a 1-year manufacturer's limited warranty for defective items from the date of receipt. Accessories are covered by a 3-month warranty. The warranty does not cover items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications.
