6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning Your Keyboard

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your device before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and case.
  • For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6.2. Keycap and Switch Replacement

Thanks to the hot-swappable design, you can easily replace keycaps and switches.

  1. Removing Keycaps: Use the provided keycap puller. Gently hook the puller onto the keycap and pull straight up.
  2. Removing Switches: After removing the keycap, use the provided switch puller. Align the prongs of the puller with the clips on the top and bottom of the switch. Squeeze the clips and gently pull the switch straight up.
  3. Installing Switches: Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the pins are straight. Gently push the switch down until it clicks into place. Do not force it; if resistance is met, check pin alignment.
  4. Installing Keycaps: Place the keycap over the switch stem and press down firmly until it is seated.

6.3. Battery Care

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Use the provided USB-C cable for charging to ensure compatibility and safety.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding:
    • Check the connection mode (Wired, 2.4G, Bluetooth) and ensure it matches your device.
    • For wireless modes, ensure the keyboard is charged.
    • Try reconnecting the USB cable or re-pairing the wireless/Bluetooth connection.
    • Test on another device to rule out a device-specific issue.
  • Keys not registering or double-typing:
    • This could indicate a faulty switch. Try hot-swapping the problematic switch with a known working one.
    • Ensure the switch is fully seated in the PCB.
    • Clean around the switch stem for any debris.
  • RGB lighting not working:
    • Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
    • Try cycling through lighting effects and adjusting brightness using Fn key combinations.
    • Check the Intelligent Control Software for lighting settings.
  • Bluetooth connection issues:
    • Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing indicator).
    • Forget the device on your computer/tablet and re-pair.
    • Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and working correctly.
    • Try a different Bluetooth channel (BT1, BT2, BT3).
