5.2 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Install Battery Boxes: Insert the 2.4G lithium battery packs into the designated battery boxes within the excavator model as per the assembly instructions.
  2. Charging: Connect the battery pack to a suitable charger (not specified if included, assume standard USB charging for lithium batteries). The charging time is approximately 150-180 minutes.
  3. Power On: Once charged, ensure the battery boxes are securely connected and the main power switch on the excavator is turned ON.

6. Operating Instructions

Your GSF 13112 excavator can be controlled using either the included 2.4GHz remote control or a mobile application.

6.1 Remote Control Operation

  1. Power On Remote: Insert batteries into the remote control (if not pre-installed or rechargeable) and turn on the power switch.
  2. Pairing: The remote control and excavator should automatically pair. If not, refer to the pairing instructions in the pictorial manual. The 2.4GHz frequency ensures stable signal and long-distance control (up to 100 meters).

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan and performance of your excavator model.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the model. Avoid water or harsh chemicals that could damage the electronic components or plastic blocks.
  • Storage: Store the model in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disassemble if storing for extended periods to prevent dust accumulation and maintain block integrity.
  • Battery Care:
    • Always fully charge the lithium battery before first use.
    • Do not overcharge or completely discharge the battery.
    • Remove batteries from the model and remote control if not in use for a long time.
    • Dispose of old batteries according to local regulations.
  • Block Integrity: Ensure blocks remain compact and tightly fitted. The design is drop-resistant, but excessive force can cause parts to loosen or break.
