3. Setup

Initial Procedures

Please follow these steps to prepare your camera for use:

  1. Check power supply
  2. Input and format memory card
  3. Video/photo capture
  4. Connect computer to download

Insert and Remove the Battery

  1. Slide the release lever to the left to open the battery cover.
  2. Insert the battery as shown in the figure (with the positive and negative electrode marks facing the screen) and continue to press until the battery clicks into the locked position.
  3. Push the locking lever upward and the battery will pop out.

Charging the Battery

Connect the camera to an AC adapter (not provided) or computer using the supplied USB Type-C cable.

Charging Indicator:

  • Red: The camera is charging.
  • Off: The camera is fully charged.
  • Flashing: Due to camera not being in the appropriate temperature range or charging pause.

Note: When using the camera for the first time, please fully charge it. The charging time is approximately 120 minutes.

Insert and Remove TF Card

  1. Insert the card as illustrated, keep pressing until the card is locked.
  2. To remove the card: press the TF card and it will pop out.

Notes:

  • The camera supports 4-128GB TF card, Class 10 and U1 are recommended.
  • Format the card in the camera if it is new or has unidentified data made by another camera.
  • If the inserting process is not smooth, please check the insert direction.

Format the TF Card

  1. Press the "MODE" button three times to enter the "Set up" interface.
  2. Select the "Format" option, then select "Yes".
  3. Press the "OK" button to confirm the formatting.

To access system settings, press the "MODE" button three times to enter the "Set up" interface. After setting, press "MODE" again to exit.

Shooting Still Images with Autofocus Function

  1. In still image mode, gently press and hold the shutter button halfway. Do not let go until the yellow focus frame on the screen turns green, indicating the image is in focus.
  2. Press the shutter button hard to shoot the image.

Use digital zoom:

  • Press the '+' button to zoom in.
  • Press the '-' button to zoom out.

Playback and Delete Still Image

  1. In still image mode, press the "MODE" button twice to enter the album.
  2. Press the Left or Right button to select an image.
  3. Press the "MENU" button or the delete icon to select "Delete".
  4. Press the "MODE" button twice again to return to the photo taking interface.

Warm tips:

  • After taking an image, you can press the delete icon to delete the current image. This is the shortcut delete button.
  • Press the '+' or '-' button to zoom in and out of the image.

Record Video

  1. Press the "MODE" button to enter the video mode.
  2. Press the "Shutter" button to start/end video recording.

Warm Tips: When playing video, you can press the '+' or '-' button to turn the video volume UP or Down.

Playback and Delete Video

  1. In video mode, press the "MODE" button twice to enter the album.
  2. Press the Left or Right button to select the video.
  3. Press the shutter button to Play or Pause the video.
  4. Press the "OK" button to Exit playback.
  5. Press the "MENU" button or the delete icon to select "Delete".
  6. Press the "MODE" button twice again to return to the photo taking interface.

Warm Tips:

  • The deleted video cannot be recovered. Please backup important data on PC or other storage device.
  • When playing the video, you can turn up/down the video volume by pressing the '+' or '-' button.

Download Image/Video to Computer

  1. Turn on the camera and connect it to computer via the supplied Type-C cable.
  2. Select "MSDC" on the camera screen and open the corresponding drive on your computer to download.
  3. After downloading, unplug the Type-C cable and the camera will shut down automatically.

Use Camera as Webcam

  1. Turn on the camera and connect it to computer via the supplied Type-C cable.
  2. Select "PC Camera" that appears on the screen. Open social video software on your computer to use the camera as a webcam.
  3. After using, unplug the Type-C cable and the camera will exit webcam mode.

Battery Safety Precautions

  • Do not disassemble the battery.
  • Do not crush or expose the battery to any shock or force (e.g., hammering, dropping, or stepping on it).
  • Do not short circuit and do not allow metal objects to come into contact with the battery terminals.

A: Yes, the camera supports 4-128GB TF cards, and Class 10 is recommended.
Q: Does the camera need to be charged for the first time use?

Q: After inserting the TF card and battery, the camera still shows "card error"?
