5. Setup Guide
5.1 Initial Preparation
- Install Memory Card (Optional): If you plan to use local storage, insert the Micro SD card into the slot before powering on the device. The memory card does not support hot-swapping.
- Power On: Connect the camera to a power source using the provided power adapter and cable. The camera will emit a voice prompt: "system starting up, wait to be configured, Wait for the connection, please configure the network according to the Instructions".
- Reset (if needed): If the camera does not emit a prompt sound or if you need to reset it, press and hold the RESET button until you hear "Restore factory settings, please do not power off" and then release it.
5.2 App Download and Installation
Download the "iCSee" app on your mobile device:
- Scan the QR code below to download the "iCSee" App.
- Alternatively, search for "iCSee" in your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and download it.

5.3 Account Registration and Login
- Open the iCSee app.
- Register a new account using your email or mobile phone number.
- Log in to your newly created account.
5.4 Network Configuration (Adding Device)
There are two primary methods for network configuration:
Method 1: Bluetooth Network Configuration (Recommended if supported)
- Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network (5GHz networks are not supported for initial setup) and Bluetooth is turned ON.
- In the iCSee app, after logging in, click the "+" button in the top right corner of the screen.
- Click on the main interface to search for found devices. (If the camera is not found, turn your phone's Bluetooth off for 5 seconds and then back on, then search again. Alternatively, long-press the camera's Reset button to reset and search again.)
- Enter your wireless router's WiFi password and click "Confirm".
- Wait for the camera network configuration. When the camera emits the voice message "connecting, please wait, connect router successfully", the network configuration is successful.
- After successful network configuration, set a name for your camera (e.g., "Living Room", "Bedroom").
- Follow the app interface to guide you through any additional setup. Once completed, the device will be displayed in the device list interface.

Method 2: WiFi Network Configuration (If Bluetooth fails or not supported)
- Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- In the iCSee app, click "+" to add devices, and select "WiFi Camera".
- Follow the app's step-by-step guide and the camera's voice prompts. When the camera emits a "Connect router successfully" prompt, it means the network configuration is successful.
- After successful network configuration, follow the instructions on the app interface to set the camera password and name.
- Once configured, the device will appear in the device list interface.
6. Operation
6.1 Live View
From the device list in the iCSee app, click on your camera's name to open the real-time preview screen. You can view live footage, control pan/tilt (if applicable), and access other features.
6.2 Two-Way Audio
The camera supports two-way voice intercom. While viewing the live feed, use the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera's speaker, and listen through your phone's speaker.

6.3 Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera features human detection and can send instant alerts to your mobile app upon detecting movement. You can configure these settings within the iCSee app.
- Alarm Push: Enable or disable alarm push notifications in the app settings.
- Recording: Motion-triggered events can be recorded to the Micro SD card or cloud storage.
- Email/FTP: Configure automatic photo sending to email or video/audio upload to FTP upon alarm.

6.4 Night Vision

6.5 Recording and Storage
- Local Storage: Video can be stored on a Micro SD card (up to 128GB). Older video files are automatically overwritten when the card is full.
- Cloud Storage: The iCSee app offers various cloud storage packages for secure and convenient video backup. Access this by clicking the "cloud" icon in the device list interface.
6.6 Remote Viewing and Multi-User Access
View your camera feed remotely from anywhere using the iCSee app on your iPhone, Android device, or Windows PC. The camera supports multiple users viewing the feed simultaneously.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the iCSee app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security. You can upgrade to the latest firmware online by yourself without notice.
- Environmental Conditions: Do not install the device in a place that is damp, dusty, or accessible to children. Use and store within the allowable temperature and humidity range (-10°C to 60°C, Humidity 95% or less, non-condensing).
- Security: Change the user password regularly to prevent unauthorized access.
8. Troubleshooting
- Q: Camera not connecting or offline?
- Check if the camera's power supply and your router's network are functioning normally.
- Unplug and replug the camera's power adapter to restart the camera.
- Restore the camera to factory settings by pressing and holding the Reset button.
- Q: Is a 5GHz router supported?
The camera primarily uses 2.4GHz WiFi for connection. If your router uses the same SSID (network name) for both 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands, it might connect directly. If your 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks have different SSIDs (e.g., "MyWiFi-2.4G" and "MyWiFi-5G"), please connect your mobile phone to the 2.4GHz network before configuring the camera.
