5. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe off surface dust or stains promptly after use with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the product in a dry, well-ventilated location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in active use.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the device is fully charged. Check the TYPE-C charging cable and power source for proper connection.
  • Poor Reception:
    • Ensure the antenna is securely connected and fully extended (for telescopic antenna).
    • Adjust the position and orientation of the antenna, especially the 360-degree rotatable Donut WB Antenna, for optimal signal.
    • If using wired headphones as an FM antenna, ensure the headphones are plugged in and the cable is sufficiently long and positioned for best reception.
    • Move to an area with better signal strength, away from potential interference sources.
  • Weak Wi-Fi Signal (CNC Metal Casing): If you have selected the CNC metal casing version, be aware that the aluminum alloy material provides some shielding against wireless electromagnetic signals, which may weaken Wi-Fi signal strength. This is normal behavior for this material.
  • Audio Issues: If audio is distorted or low, check the volume settings. Ensure headphones are properly connected if in use. The V4 model has recalibrated amplifier and speaker parameters for enhanced audio quality.
  • Device Malfunction: If the device exhibits unusual behavior or fails to operate, do not attempt to disassemble or repair it yourself. Contact professional maintenance personnel.

8. User Tips

  • Choosing Casing: If you opt for the CNC metal casing, be aware that while it enhances interference resistance, it might slightly weaken Wi-Fi signal strength due to the aluminum alloy material's shielding properties.
  • FM Antenna Usage: For optimal FM reception using wired headphones as an antenna, ensure you are in an area with strong FM signals and use headphones with sufficiently long cables.
  • Charging Best Practices: Always use a standard TYPE-C charger. Avoid fast chargers as the device is not compatible with them.
