2. Power Connection
You have two options for powering the M70:
- Car Charger: Connect the 2-in-1 car charger to the Type-C port on the M70 and plug the car charger head into your car's cigarette lighter socket. This provides power for normal operation.
- ACC Cable: For advanced features like 24-hour parking monitoring and remote live monitoring via the CarKeeper app, use the 2-in-1 ACC cable. Connect the Type-C end to the M70. The ACC cable has three wires:
- Red wire (ACC wire): Connect to the vehicle's ACC power source.
- Yellow wire (constant power wire): Connect to the positive terminal of the car battery (constant power).
- Black wire (negative wire): Connect to the vehicle's body ground.
Note: Remote Live Monitoring and 24h Parking Monitoring require the use of the ACC cable. These functions will not operate correctly if only using the standard car charger.
3. GPS Antenna Installation
Connect the GPS antenna to the dedicated 3.5mm GPS Jack on the M70. Position the antenna in a location with a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception.
4. Rear Camera Installation (Optional)
If you have the optional rear camera, connect its cable to the AV IN port on the M70. Route the cable carefully to the rear of your vehicle and mount the camera securely. Ensure the camera is waterproof.
5. Initial Power On
Once all connections are made, start your vehicle. The M70 should power on automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup, such as language selection and time zone.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and device body. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Temperature: Operate the device within the specified working temperature range of -20℃ to 70℃. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or cold.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, ensure it is powered off and disconnected from power sources. Store in a cool, dry place.
- Software Updates: Regularly check for and install OTA updates to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
- TF Card Care: Periodically format your TF card (back up important recordings first) to maintain its performance and prevent data corruption. Replace old or slow TF cards as needed.
Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Check all power connections. Ensure the car charger is properly seated in the cigarette lighter or the ACC cable is correctly wired to the car's power sources.
- No 4G signal: Ensure a valid 4G SIM card is inserted correctly. Check your mobile network coverage in the area. Restart the device.
- GPS not working: Ensure the GPS antenna is securely connected and placed in a location with a clear view of the sky.
- Recording issues: Check if the TF card is inserted correctly and is a Class 10 card. Ensure the card is not full; if it is, loop recording should manage it, but a format might be needed.
- Remote monitoring not working: Verify that the ACC cable is used for power, the device has 4G internet connectivity, and the CarKeeper app on your phone is properly configured and connected to the device.
- Screen unresponsive: Try restarting the device. If the issue persists, contact support.
- Audio output problems: Check selected audio output mode (Bluetooth, FM, AUX, built-in speaker). Ensure connections are secure for AUX, and FM frequencies match.
User Tips
- For optimal performance of ADAS and GPS features, ensure the device is mounted securely and the front camera has an unobstructed view of the road.
- When using split-screen, prioritize essential driving applications like navigation on one side to maintain focus.
- To maximize storage for recordings, consider using a 256GB Class 10 TF card.
- If you frequently use the remote monitoring features, ensure your vehicle's battery is in good condition, as the ACC cable draws power even when the car is off.
- Explore the various OSD language options in settings to find the most comfortable interface for you.
