1. Introduction

The Potensic ATOM 2 is a high-performance camera drone designed for capturing stunning aerial photography and videography. Featuring an 8K photo capability, 4K HDR video recording, and an intuitive 5.5-inch PTD 1 remote control, it offers advanced features like AI tracking, night recording, and vertical shooting. This manual provides essential information for safe and effective operation of your ATOM 2 drone.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unboxing and Component Check

Before first use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. The package typically includes:

• Charging Cables

3.2 Battery Charging

Charge the drone's flight battery and the remote controller's internal battery using the provided charging cables. The PTD 1 remote controller supports 27W fast charging.

3.3 Drone Preparation

1. Unfold the drone arms carefully.
2. Attach the propellers if not already installed, ensuring correct orientation as per the markings.
3. Insert the fully charged flight battery into the drone until it clicks securely.

3.4 Remote Controller Setup

The PTD 1 Remote Controller features a built-in 5.5-inch FHD touchscreen (1920x1080 resolution, 700 nits brightness). Power on the remote controller. The remote controller is exclusively compatible with the ATOM 2 drone.

3.5 App Installation (Potensic Eve)

Download and install the 'Potensic Eve' app on your smartphone. This app provides an intuitive interface for effortless operation, flight record playback, and smart reminders for enhanced safety and simplicity.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Pre-Flight Checklist

• Ensure drone and remote controller batteries are fully charged.
• Check propellers for any damage and ensure they are securely attached.
• Verify the drone's location is suitable for flight and complies with local regulations.
• Confirm GPS signal acquisition for stable flight and RTH functions.

4.2 Takeoff and Landing

The ATOM 2 supports one-tap takeoff and landing for ease of use. Ensure the drone is placed on a flat, open surface before initiating takeoff.

4.3 Flight Control

The PTD 1 remote controller provides precise control over the drone. Familiarize yourself with the joystick movements and button functions before flight. The drone offers a maximum control range of 10KM with PixSync 4.0 technology, providing 1080p/30fps real-time video transmission.

4.4 Camera Operation

The ATOM 2 is equipped with a 1/2" Sony CMOS sensor, capable of capturing 48MP photos and 4K/30fps HDR videos with its 3-axis gimbal. The F1.8 aperture and 4-in-1 pixel technology enhance low-light performance. P-Log mode is available for vivid and realistic imaging.

Regularly inspect propellers for any cracks, bends, or damage. Replace damaged propellers immediately to ensure safe and stable flight. Use the provided screwdriver for propeller replacement.

5.3 General Cleaning

Keep the drone and remote controller clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down surfaces. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents that could damage the components.
