3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the laser level is turned off.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the side of the unit.
  3. Insert the provided 2400mAh or 3600mAh batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

  • Direct Placement: Place the unit on a stable, flat surface.
  • Tripod Mounting: The unit is threaded compatible with most tripods. Attach the laser level to the 1m tripod (if included) using the conversion screw if necessary. Adjust the tripod legs and vertical height adjustment handle for desired elevation.
  • Wall Magnetic Bracket: Use the wall magnetic bracket to attach the laser level to metallic surfaces for precise height adjustment.
  • Lifting Base: Utilize the plastic or all-aluminum lifting platform for convenient and fine height adjustments on flat surfaces.
  • 360° Rotating Base: The mini tripod or semi-aluminum fine-tuning base allows for precise 360° rotation and adjustment.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Powering On and Self-Leveling

  1. Standard Start (Self-Leveling Mode): Slide the power switch to the 'ON' position. The device will automatically self-level within ±3°. If the tilt exceeds 3°, an alarm will sound, and the laser lines will flash to indicate it's out of range.
  2. Manual Mode (without alarm): To operate in manual mode (e.g., for angled lines), press and hold the 'H' or 'V' button to start the device without the self-leveling alarm. The laser lines will remain active even if the device is tilted beyond 3°.
