Operating the Protection Shell

This product is a protective enclosure. Once correctly assembled, it passively protects your ATORCH electronic load tester from physical damage, dust, and accidental contact. There are no specific operational steps for the shell itself. Operate your electronic load tester as per its own instruction manual.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the shell. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, followed by drying thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the shell for any cracks, damage, or loose screws. Ensure the fan grill remains clear of obstructions to allow proper airflow for the electronic load tester.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the assembled unit in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

Shell does not fit the electronic load tester:
Ensure you have purchased the correct shell version (DL24 V0/V2, DL24P V0/V2, BW150 V1) for your specific electronic load tester model. Refer to the compatibility section and images. This shell is not suitable for other styles or brands.
Screws do not tighten:
Avoid over-tightening screws, as this is a 3D-printed product and excessive force can damage the plastic threads. If a screw is stripped, it may require a slightly larger screw or thread repair.
Cracks or damage to the shell:
The shell is 3D printed. While durable, it can be damaged by excessive force or drops. If significant damage occurs, consider replacing the shell to maintain protection for your electronic load tester.
