3.2 Connecting the Keyboard

4.1 Basic Operation

• Typing: The keyboard functions as a standard 75% layout keyboard.
• RGB Lighting: Use the Akko Cloud Driver to customize ARGB lighting effects, colors, and brightness. The keyboard supports a 500Hz refresh rate for flicker-free visuals.
• Display Screen & Knob: The integrated display screen can show multimedia information or custom GIFs. The vertical knob typically controls volume and lighting, but its functions can be reprogrammed via the Akko Cloud Driver.

4.2 Advanced Features (via Akko Cloud Driver)

The Akko Cloud Driver allows for extensive customization of your keyboard's performance:

• Adjustable Actuation Distance: Customize the actuation point of each key from 0.1mm to 3.4mm in 0.005mm steps. This allows for fine-tuning key sensitivity for different tasks like gaming or typing.

• Rapid Trigger (RT): Enable Rapid Trigger to eliminate actuation delay, allowing keys to activate and deactivate instantly with minimal travel. This is particularly beneficial for fast-paced games.

• RT Stabilizer: Activate this mode through the Akko Driver to filter out slight hand tremors, preventing unintended inputs, especially when using very low Rapid Trigger precision settings. Choose from 4 different filtering levels.
• Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS): Program a single key to perform up to four different actions based on light press, deeper press, and two-stage release settings.

• Toggle Key (TGL): Transform a key into a toggle switch that can either hold a function or trigger it repeatedly at high speed.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Keycaps: Gently remove keycaps (if desired) and clean with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Keyboard Body: Wipe the aluminum case with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
• Between Keys: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps and switches.

5.2 Switch Replacement

The MOD007 V5 HE supports cross-compatible magnetic switches. If replacing switches:

1. Carefully remove the keycap from the switch you wish to replace.
2. Gently pull out the magnetic switch.
3. Insert the new compatible magnetic switch, ensuring it is seated correctly.
4. After replacing switches, open the Akko Cloud Driver.
5. Select the appropriate switch type from the Akko Driver list and calibrate the keyboard to ensure proper functionality and accuracy. Unlisted switches may not work properly or achieve the advertised precision.

5.3 Rapid Disassemble

6. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard Not Responding: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and your computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
• Keys Not Registering Correctly: Check if the switches are properly seated. If you've replaced switches, ensure they are calibrated in the Akko Cloud Driver.
• Software Issues: If the Akko Cloud Driver is not functioning as expected, try restarting your computer and the software. Ensure you have the latest version installed.
• RGB Lighting Problems: Verify that the lighting settings in the Akko Cloud Driver are configured correctly. Check for any conflicting software that might be controlling RGB.
