Gigabit Ethernet Connection

  • Plug an Ethernet cable into the RJ45 port on the hub.
  • The hub will automatically adapt to 10/100/1000M network speeds, providing a stable wired internet connection.

User Tips

  • For optimal performance, especially when using multiple high-power devices or external displays, always connect a power adapter to the hub's USB C PD port.
  • Ensure your host device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) for video output via HDMI. Not all USB-C ports support this feature.
  • When connecting external storage devices, ensure they are properly ejected from your operating system before disconnecting them from the hub to prevent data corruption.
  • Keep the hub in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating during extended use.

Troubleshooting

  • No Display Output:
    • Ensure your host device's USB-C port supports audio and video transmission (DisplayPort Alt Mode).
    • Check all cable connections (USB-C from hub to device, HDMI from hub to display).
    • Try a different HDMI cable or display.
  • "Current Overload" Message: If you encounter a "Current overload" prompt and the hub cannot be used, restart your computer. Then, connect the PD power adapter to the hub first, before connecting any other interfaces or peripherals.
  • No Network Connection:
    • Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the hub and your router/modem.
    • Check your network settings on your host device.
    • For Windows 7 users, ensure the necessary driver has been installed as prompted upon first use.
  • USB Devices Not Recognized:
    • Ensure the USB device is properly plugged into the hub.
    • If using a high-power USB device, ensure the hub is connected to a PD power source.
    • Try connecting the USB device directly to your host device to confirm it's functional.

Care and Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Precipitation, humidity, and all types of liquids or moisture can contain minerals that will corrode electronic circuits.
  • Do not use or store the device in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts and electronic components can be damaged.
  • Do not store the device in high temperatures. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and warp or melt certain plastics.
  • Do not store the device in cold temperatures. When the device returns to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the device and damage electronic circuit boards.
  • Do not attempt to open the device.
  • Do not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and fine mechanics.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth.
