5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your XBJ A5PRO projector:
- Power On: Connect the power cord to the projector and a power outlet. Press the power button to turn on the projector.
- Initial Projection: The projector will automatically enter projection mode upon power-on.
- Adjust Placement: Position the projector on a stable surface. Utilize the 180° rotatable stand to adjust the projection angle as needed (e.g., wall, ceiling).
- Automatic Adjustments: The projector features auto-focus, auto-keystone correction, auto obstacle avoidance, and auto screen alignment. Allow the projector a few moments to perform these automatic adjustments for a clear and properly shaped image.
- Manual Adjustments (Optional): If further fine-tuning is required, use the remote control or the touchscreen interface to access settings for digital keystone correction (up to ±40°) or digital zoom (up to 75%).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the projector or remote control.

7. Connectivity
7.1 Wi-Fi Connection
The projector supports dual-band WiFi 6 for high-speed internet access and low-latency streaming. To connect to Wi-Fi:
- Go to 'Settings' on the projector's interface.
- Select 'Network & Internet'.
- Choose your desired Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
7.2 Bluetooth Connection
The XBJ A5PRO features Two-way Bluetooth 5.2, allowing it to connect to external Bluetooth speakers or headphones for enhanced audio, or to function as a standalone Bluetooth speaker.
- Connecting to External Audio: Go to 'Settings' > 'Connected devices' > 'Pair new device' and select your Bluetooth audio device.
- Using as Bluetooth Speaker: Switch the projector to Bluetooth Speaker Mode. Your phone or other device can then connect to the projector as a Bluetooth speaker.
7.3 HDMI and USB Connections
The projector includes HDMI and USB ports for connecting external devices such as gaming consoles, laptops, TV sticks, or USB drives. Use the provided HDMI cable to connect compatible devices.
8. Keystone Correction & Focus
The XBJ A5PRO is equipped with advanced automatic correction features to ensure a perfectly aligned and focused image.
- Auto Focus: The projector automatically adjusts the lens to achieve a sharp image.
- Auto Keystone Correction: It automatically corrects trapezoidal distortion, ensuring a rectangular image even when the projector is not perfectly aligned with the screen.
- Auto Obstacle Avoidance: The projector can detect obstacles in the projection path and adjust the image to avoid them.
- Auto Screen Alignment: It automatically aligns the projected image with the screen boundaries.
These features work automatically upon setup and during repositioning. Manual adjustments can be made via the settings menu if preferred.

9. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your projector.
- Dust Filter: The projector features a new fully enclosed optical design with a built-in dust filter that blocks 95% of dust. Regularly check and clean the dust filter to maintain clear projection and extend the projector's lifespan.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the projector. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

10. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your projector, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Image or Sound During Screen Mirroring (from certain apps): Due to HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) agreements, some streaming apps (e.g., Hulu) may prevent screen mirroring. To resolve this, play content from these apps by inserting a TV Stick/Chromecast into the projector's HDMI port, or connect a laptop/computer via HDMI.
- Image is Blurry: Ensure the auto-focus function has completed. If needed, manually adjust the focus using the remote or touchscreen. Check that the projection surface is flat and the projector is stable.
- Image is Distorted (not rectangular): Allow the auto-keystone correction to complete. If distortion persists, manually adjust keystone correction in the settings.
- No Sound: Check the volume settings on the projector and any connected external audio devices. Ensure Bluetooth audio devices are properly paired and selected as the output.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues: Verify your Wi-Fi password and ensure the projector is within range of your router. Try restarting both the projector and your router.
11. User Tips
- For the best viewing experience, use the projector in a dimly lit or dark room.
- Experiment with different projection distances and angles to find the optimal setup for your space.
- Regularly update the Android system and installed applications to ensure compatibility and access to the latest features.
