2. Safety Information

5. Setup Instructions
5.1. Physical Installation
- Ensure the power to the light fixture is turned OFF at the switch before installation.
- Carefully screw the Gleco Smart LED Light Bulb into a standard E27 socket.
- Turn the power ON at the switch. The bulb should light up.
5.2. App Download & Registration
- Download the 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
5.3. Connecting the Bulb (WiFi Version)
The WiFi version connects directly to your 2.4GHz WiFi network. It supports Alexa and Google Assistant voice control without an additional gateway.
- Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. (5GHz networks are not supported).
- Open the Smart Life APP.
- Switch the bulb ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON (or similar sequence, typically 3-5 times) until it enters pairing mode (the bulb will flash rapidly, often described as 'breathing fast').
- In the Smart Life app, tap 'Add Device' or the '+' icon.
- Select 'Lighting' > 'Light Source (Wi-Fi)'.
- Confirm the bulb is flashing rapidly.
- Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi network password.
- The app will search for and add the device. Once connected, you can rename the bulb.

5.4. Connecting the Bulb (Bluetooth Version)
The Bluetooth version connects via Bluetooth. For voice control with Alexa or Google Assistant, a Tuya Bluetooth gateway (hub) is required and sold separately.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Open the Smart Life APP.
- Switch the bulb ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON (or similar sequence) until it enters pairing mode (the bulb will flash rapidly).
- In the Smart Life app, tap 'Add Device' or the '+' icon.
- Select 'Lighting' > 'Light Source (Bluetooth)'.
- Confirm the bulb is flashing rapidly.
- The app will search for and add the device. Once connected, you can rename the bulb.
- To enable voice control with Alexa or Google Assistant for the Bluetooth version, you must connect the bulb through a Tuya Bluetooth gateway.

5.5. Voltage Compatibility
Gleco Smart LED Light Bulbs are available in different voltage options to suit various regions:
- 110V: Typically used in the United States, Mexico, Japan, and parts of Brazil.
- 220V: Common in most countries in Europe, Asia, Australia, and the UK.
- 85-265V: A universal option applicable worldwide.
Please verify your local voltage requirements before purchasing and installing the bulb.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. App Control
Once connected, you can control your smart bulb directly from the Smart Life app. The app allows you to:
- Turn the bulb ON/OFF.
- Select from 16 million colors (RGBCW Full Color).
- Adjust brightness from 0% to 100%.
- Change color temperature (2700K Warm White to 6500K Daylight).



6.2. Scheduling
Use the Smart Life app to set schedules for your bulb. You can program it to:
- Turn ON/OFF at specific times.
- Change colors or brightness at scheduled intervals.
- Automate your lighting routines for convenience and energy saving.

6.3. Multi-Bulb Sync & Group Control
If you have multiple Gleco Smart LED Light Bulbs, you can group them together in the Smart Life app to control them simultaneously. This allows for synchronized lighting effects across different rooms or areas.

6.4. Voice Control
Integrate your smart bulb with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for hands-free control:
- Link your Smart Life account to Alexa or Google Home app.
- Use voice commands such as:
- "Alexa, turn on the living room light."
- "Hey Google, dim the bedroom light to 50%."
- "Alexa, change the kitchen light to blue."
Note for Bluetooth Version: Voice control with Alexa or Google Assistant requires a Tuya Bluetooth gateway (hub), which is not included with the bulb.

6.5. Music Sync
The smart bulb can synchronize its lighting effects with surrounding sound or music playing on your phone, creating a dynamic and immersive experience for parties or casual listening.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure the bulb is off and cool before cleaning. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Replacement: When the bulb reaches the end of its lifespan, turn off the power, allow it to cool, and carefully unscrew it from the fixture. Replace with a new Gleco Smart LED Light Bulb.
- Storage: If storing the bulb for an extended period, keep it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
8. Troubleshooting
- Bulb not turning on:
- Ensure the power switch is on and the bulb is securely screwed into the socket. Check if the socket is working with another bulb.
- Bulb not pairing/flashing:
- Try resetting the bulb by turning it OFF/ON 3-5 times rapidly until it starts flashing. Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz (for WiFi version) and your phone's Bluetooth is on (for Bluetooth version).
- Cannot connect to WiFi (WiFi version):
- Confirm your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz signal. Ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network during setup. Check your WiFi password for accuracy. Move the bulb closer to the router during setup.
- Voice control not working:
- Ensure your Smart Life account is correctly linked to your Alexa or Google Home app. For Bluetooth bulbs, confirm you have a Tuya Bluetooth gateway and the bulb is connected through it. Check your internet connection.
- App not responding:
- Close and reopen the Smart Life app. Check your phone's internet connection. Restart your router and the smart bulb.
9. User Tips
- Optimal Placement: For WiFi bulbs, place them within a reasonable range of your 2.4GHz WiFi router for stable connectivity.
- Group Control: Utilize the group control feature in the Smart Life app to manage multiple bulbs efficiently, especially in open-plan living areas or rooms with several light sources.
- Scheduling for Security: Use the scheduling feature to make it appear as if someone is home when you are away, enhancing home security.
- Scene Creation: Explore creating custom scenes in the Smart Life app for different activities or moods, such as 'Movie Night', 'Reading', or 'Party'.
