4.4 Device Restarting

If you encounter problems, try restarting the device. Restarting will not delete settings or personal data. Long press the power button to turn off, then press it again to restart.

4.5 Common Wheel Size Settings

Setting the correct wheel size is crucial for accurate riding information. There are two methods:

Method 1: Manual Measurement

  1. Mark the air valve where the wheel touches the ground. Draw a line on the ground.
  2. Move the bicycle forward one full rotation on a flat surface, keeping tires perpendicular to the ground. Draw another line at the air valve.
  3. Measure the distance between the two lines.
  4. Subtract 4mm to account for the weight on the bicycle to get the circumference.

Method 2: Using the Chart

Find your wheel's diameter (in inches or ETRTO) printed on the wheel and match it to the corresponding length in millimeters in the table below. For sizes not listed, you can find them online.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Device not responding: Try restarting the device by long-pressing the power button to turn it off, then pressing it again to restart. This will not delete settings or personal data.
  • Pairing issues with smartphone: If pairing fails, try restarting your smartphone's Bluetooth, the iGPSPORT APP, or the bike computer itself. Ensure your phone has an internet connection and Bluetooth is enabled.
  • Sensor connection issues: If a sensor stops connecting, it may need to be searched and reconnected after replacing its battery. Resetting the device or firmware upgrades may also require re-searching and reconnecting sensors.
  • Inaccurate data: Ensure your user information (gender, age, weight, height) is accurately entered in the iGPSPORT APP, as these factors affect measurement accuracy. For fitness and training status, ensure a heart rate monitor is worn and sufficient riding data is collected as specified in the manual.
  • Battery draining quickly: Be aware that enabling Smart Notification will increase battery consumption for both the bike computer and your phone due to constant Bluetooth connection.
