5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the device.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the 18650 lithium batteries according to the polarity markings. The F70 model uses three 1200mAh batteries, while the F69 model uses two 1800mAh batteries.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Charging

Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC 5V port on the side of the device and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (DC 5V/2A for F70, DC 5V/1A for F69). The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 3-5 hours.

5.3 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power button (usually red) on the device to turn it on or off.

5.4 Initial Language and Time Settings

Upon first use or after a reset, you may need to set the language and date/time.

  1. Navigate to the 'Tools' or 'Settings' menu on the main screen.
  2. Select 'Language' to choose your preferred language (e.g., English).
  3. Select 'Date & Time' to set the current date and time.

6.1 Main Menu Navigation

6.2 Media Playback

The device supports playback from USB flash drives and TF cards.

  1. Insert Media: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a TF card into one of the TF card slots (TF1 or TF2).
  2. Select Mode: From the main menu, select 'Music' for audio, 'Video' for videos, 'Photo' for images, or 'EBook' for e-books.
  3. Browse and Play: Navigate through your files and select the desired content to play.
  4. Digital Song Selection: Use the numeric keypad to directly input the track number for quick selection. For example, to play the 19th song, input '19'.
  5. Supported Formats:
    • Video: H.264HP High bitrate decoding: RM, AVI, MKV, VOB, MOV, FLV, ASF, DAT, MP4, 3GP, MPG, MPEG, etc. Full format 720P high-definition video playback: RM, H264, Xvid, Mpeg2 supports up to 1080P video playback.
    • Audio: MP3, WAV, OGG, APE, FLAC, etc. Supports lyrics display if an 'LRC' file is present with the audio file.
    • Image/E-book: JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TXT, ANSI.

6.3 Radio Functions

The device features a highly sensitive telescopic antenna for FM, AM, and SW radio reception.

  1. Extend Antenna: Fully extend the telescopic antenna for optimal signal reception.
