Dooya Home Automation Smart Hub

1. Introduction

The DD7002B Connector Bridge is a smart hub designed to integrate your motorized window treatments (shutters, blinds, and curtains) into your Wi-Fi network. This enables convenient control via a smart application and facilitates interaction with other Internet of Things (IoT) products in your home.

2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before using the DD7002B Connector Bridge. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Carefully remove the product from its packaging. Avoid bumping or hitting it forcefully to prevent damage.
  • Do not place the device near concrete walls or corners, as this may interfere with wireless signals.
  • Keep the device away from electrical appliances that generate strong electromagnetic fields (e.g., refrigerators, microwaves) to prevent interference.
  • Ensure the power supply used is 5V/1A DC.
  • For indoor use only.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Getting Started

To control your motorized window treatments through the Connector app, you will need:

  • The free app downloaded via the Apple App Store (available under iPhone apps) or the Google Play Store.
  • One or more Wi-Fi Bridges, depending on the size of the space.

4.2 Physical Installation

  1. Unpack the Wi-Fi Bridge and its power cord.
  2. Insert the USB end of the power cord into an available outlet power plug.
  3. Insert the micro USB end of the power cord into the Wi-Fi Bridge.
  4. Place the bridge in a centrally located position in your home and plug it into an outlet. You may need to experiment with different locations to achieve optimal signal strength for all connected devices.

4.3 App Download and Connection

Download the Connector app by scanning the QR codes below or searching in your app store:

After installing the app, follow the in-app instructions to link your Connector Bridge with your home Wi-Fi router and establish connections with your motorized window treatments and other IoT applications (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Indicator Lights

The indicator light on the DD7002B Connector Bridge provides visual feedback on its status:

5.2 Buttons

The device features two buttons:

  • Program Button: Used for pairing and other configuration tasks as guided by the app.
  • Reset Button: Used to reset the device to factory settings. Refer to the status indicator table for visual feedback during a reset.

6. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your DD7002B Connector Bridge:

  • Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the device to moisture or extreme temperatures.
  • Do not attempt to open or repair the device yourself. This will void the warranty and may cause damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your DD7002B Connector Bridge, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the bridge and a working power outlet. Verify the power adapter is supplying 5V/1A DC.
  • Wi-Fi disconnected (Slow Flashing Red indicator): Check your home Wi-Fi router to ensure it is functioning correctly. Try restarting the router and the Connector Bridge. Ensure the bridge is within the signal range of your Wi-Fi router.
  • Unable to connect to app: Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the bridge during initial setup. Follow the in-app pairing instructions carefully. If issues persist, try resetting the bridge using the Reset button (Quick Flashing Red indicator).
  • Motorized treatments not responding: Ensure the bridge is properly paired with your motorized treatments. Check the signal strength between the bridge and the treatments.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact customer support.
