1. Introduction

The Sansui F70 is a versatile 7-inch multimedia player designed for entertainment and information on the go. It combines an FM radio, MP4 video player, Bluetooth speaker, and e-book reader into a single portable device. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your device.

3. Initial Setup

3.1. Battery Installation and Charging

The Sansui F70 uses three 18650 lithium batteries. Ensure they are correctly installed before first use.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert three 18650 lithium batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

To charge the device, connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC 5V port on the side of the player and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included). A full charge typically takes 3-5 hours.

3.2. Language and Time Settings

Upon first use or after a reset, you may need to set the language and time.

  1. Navigate to the "Tools" or "Settings" icon on the main menu.
  2. Select "Language" to choose your preferred language (e.g., English).
  3. Select "Date & Time" to adjust the current date and time.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually red, located on the side or front panel) to turn the device on or off.

4.2. Navigation

Use the directional buttons and the numeric keypad on the right side of the device to navigate through menus and select options. The 7-inch IPS screen provides a clear visual interface.

4.3. FM Radio

The device features a highly sensitive telescopic antenna for optimal radio reception.

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna (up to 53cm) for better signal reception.
  2. Select the "Radio" or "FM" icon from the main menu.
  3. Use the knob or numeric keypad to tune to your desired frequency (FM 87.5-108MHz, MW 522-1620KHz, SW 2.3-22MHz).
  4. The device supports automatic radio reception.

4.4. Media Playback (USB/TF Card)

The Sansui F70 supports playback from USB flash drives and dual TF cards.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a TF card into one of the TF1/TF2 slots.
  2. Navigate to "Music" or "Video" from the main menu.
  3. Select the desired file for playback.
  4. Use the numeric keypad for digital song selection (e.g., input "1.9" for the 19th song).

4.5. Bluetooth Connectivity

Connect your Sansui F70 to other Bluetooth-enabled devices for wireless audio streaming.

  1. Select the "Bluetooth" icon from the main menu.
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
  3. Search for "SANSUI F70" in your device's Bluetooth settings and pair.

4.6. E-book Reading

Read e-books directly on the 7-inch IPS screen.

  1. Transfer compatible e-book files (TXT, ANSI) to a TF card or USB drive.
  2. Select the "EBook" icon from the main menu.
  3. Browse and select your desired e-book to start reading.

4.7. Timer Shutdown

Set a timer for the device to automatically shut down, useful for saving power or falling asleep to music/radio.

  1. Navigate to the "Settings" or "Tools" menu.
  2. Look for "Timer Shutdown" or a similar option.
  3. Set the desired shutdown time.

4.8. TWS Dual Machine Interconnection

For an enhanced stereo audio experience, two Sansui F70 units can be interconnected wirelessly.

  1. Ensure both F70 units are powered on and in Bluetooth mode.
  2. Follow the instructions in the "Bluetooth" menu to pair the two devices for TWS (True Wireless Stereo) functionality.

5. Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Moisture can damage the internal circuits.
  • Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures.
  • Clean the screen and body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
  • Handle the telescopic antenna with care to avoid bending or breaking.

6. Troubleshooting
