3. Setup & Initial Use
3.1. Battery Check
Before first use, ensure the insulating film has been removed from the battery compartment. The EV20 comes with a built-in 1000mAh battery.
3.2. Charging
The flashlight is equipped with a Type-C charging port. Connect the provided Type-C cable to the flashlight and a suitable USB power source.
- Charging Indicator: When charging, the attached light moves from low to high.
- Full Charge Indicator: The green light turns on when fully charged.
- Charging Time: Approximately 3 hours for a full charge.

4. Operating Instructions
The BORUiT EV20 features a dual-switch system for intuitive control of its various lighting modes.

4.1. Main Light Modes (White LED & UV Light)
The left switch controls the main light functions.
- Turn ON/OFF: Long press the main light switch.
- Switch Gears (Spotlight/Floodlight): Single click to cycle through: High → Medium → Low → Strobe. The flashlight has a memory function for the last used mode.
- Turbo Mode: Double-click the main light switch to activate the extremely bright Turbo mode. Long press to turn off.
- UV Light: Triple-click the main light switch to turn on the 365nm UV light. Long press to turn off.

4.2. Side Light Modes (RGB & Warning Lights)
The right switch controls the side light functions.
- Turn ON/OFF: Long press the side light switch.
- White Side Light: Single click to cycle through: White High Light → White Low Light.
- RGB Modes: Double-click to cycle through: Colored → Breathing → Streamline → Dropflow → Rainbow. In any of these modes, single-clicking will switch to different colors.
- Red and Blue Flashing Warning Light: Triple-click to activate.

4.3. Battery Level Display
- Discharge Green Light: Indicates battery level (located at the accessory light position).
- Red Light ON: When battery is lower than 3.1V (switch position).
- Red Light Flashing: When battery is lower than 2.9V.
- Turns OFF: When battery is lower than 2.7V.

7. Troubleshooting
- Lamp fails to light up: Check whether the battery insulating film has been removed. Ensure the battery is charged.
- Light output is dim: The battery may be low. Recharge the flashlight fully.
- Flashlight not charging: Ensure the Type-C cable is properly connected and the power source is functional. Try a different cable or power adapter.
