3.3 Advanced Gaming Features

The GravaStar Mercury V60 Pro offers several advanced features for competitive gaming, configurable via the software:

  • Controller Mapping: Every key captures press depth for precise throttle, brake, and steering simulation, making it ideal for racing games.
  • Adjustable Actuation Point: Customize the trigger depth from 0.005mm to 3.5mm in 0.005mm increments. Shallow settings allow for faster combos, while deeper settings provide more precise inputs.
  • Dynamic Rapid Trigger: Activation and deactivation points dynamically adjust based on key travel, not preset limits, enabling fluid rapid-fire key repeats.
  • Last Keystroke Prioritization (LKP) + Snap Click: Prioritizes the last-pressed key for smooth directional changes and resolves simultaneous presses by favoring deeper inputs.
  • Rapid Trigger Mode: Eliminates key "stiction" with instant reset on upward travel, allowing for faster re-presses and input switching.
  • SOCD (Simultaneous Opposite Cardinal Directions): Bind two keys together – the last pressed key will force-release the previous key, ensuring only one key is triggered at any given moment.
  • DKS (Dynamic Keystroke): A single key can perform four different functions based on press depth.
  • TGL (Toggle): Single click to enable continuous triggering.
  • MT (Macro Toggle): Hold and tap a key to achieve different functions.
  • MPT (Multi-Point Trigger): A single key can trigger three different keys at three different actuation depths.
  • END (End Trigger): A single key can send another key signal upon release.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean your keyboard, disconnect it from your computer. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. For cleaning between keycaps, use compressed air or a small brush.

4.2 Hot-Swappable Switches

The Mercury V60 Pro features a hot-swappable design, allowing you to change switches without soldering. This is compatible with magnetic Hall Effect switches and select TTC and Gateron models. Use the provided switch puller tool to carefully remove and insert switches.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Keyboard Not Responding

  • Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
  • Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
  • Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out a computer-specific issue.
  • Restart your computer.

5.2 RGB Lighting Issues

  • Check the lighting control key combinations (refer to Section 3.2) to ensure the lighting is not turned off or set to a very dim level.
  • Ensure the GravaStar software is installed and updated. Check lighting settings within the software.
  • If specific keys are not lighting up, it might indicate a faulty switch or LED.

5.3 Key Input Issues (e.g., double-typing, missed inputs)

  • Ensure the GravaStar software is updated to the latest version.
  • Check the actuation point settings in the software. Adjusting the sensitivity might resolve the issue.
  • If a specific key is consistently problematic, consider replacing the switch due to its hot-swappable design.
