Setup and Connection
The KS42 controller offers flexible connection methods to suit your gaming platform.
Controller Layout Overview

Key components include:
- Left Stick: Analog joystick for movement.
- Direction Key (D-pad): For directional input.
- Turbo Button: Activates rapid-fire function.

Connection Methods
- Direct Slide-in Connection (for Nintendo Switch/OLED Switch):
Slide the controller halves onto the side rails of your Nintendo Switch or OLED Switch console. The controller will automatically connect to the host via Bluetooth. To disconnect, simply slide the controller halves off the console. - Bluetooth Wireless Connection:
When the controller is powered off, press and hold the Pairing Button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. Search for the controller on your device's Bluetooth settings and select it to connect. To reconnect to a previously paired device, short press the HOME Button.


Operating Instructions
Motor Vibration Adjustment
Press the Vibration Key to cycle through 5 levels of motor vibration intensity: 100%, 75%, 50%, 30%, and Off. The default setting is 30%. After adjustment, the motor will vibrate for 0.5 seconds to confirm the setting. The controller remembers the last adjusted setting even after being turned off. Both left and right handles can have their vibration adjusted separately.

Back Key Function (Macro Programming)
The controller features two programmable back buttons (ML and MR) for custom macros and shortcuts.
- Single Button Setting (Left ML):
Press and hold the Left M (setting key) + desired button (e.g., L). A vibration prompt indicates successful setting. The ML back button is now set to perform the 'L' action. - Single Button Setting (Right MR):
Press and hold the Right M (setting key) + desired button (e.g., A). A vibration prompt indicates successful setting. The MR back button is now set to perform the 'A' action.
Note: The Left M key can only be used to program buttons on the left side of the controller, and the Right M key for buttons on the right side.
Advanced Macro Programming
You can program sequences of button presses, including joystick movements and timed delays.
- Press and hold the setting key. All 4 LEDs will light up, indicating macro programming mode.
- Press the desired buttons in sequence or simultaneously. You can also include joystick movements.
- Release the setting key. A vibration prompt confirms the macro is saved.
Example: To program ML to perform B (1-second delay) A (3-second delay) X:
- Hold the ML key. The 4 LEDs will light up.
- Press the B key.
- Wait 1 second.
- Press the A key.
- Wait 3 seconds.
- Press the X key.
- Release the ML key to save and exit (vibration prompt).
Now, pressing the ML key will execute the programmed sequence.

Turbo Continuous Function
The Turbo function allows for rapid-fire button presses.

- TURBO Setting: Press the Turbo key simultaneously with any of the following buttons: A, B, X, Y, L1, L2, R1, R2, or any D-pad direction. This activates the Turbo function for that specific button.
- AUTO TURBO Function: Press the Turbo key again with the previously set Turbo button. This enables automatic rapid-fire without needing to hold the button.
- Cancel TURBO Function: Press the Turbo key a third time with the specific button to cancel its Turbo function.
- Clear All Turbo Functions: Long press the Turbo key for 5 seconds to clear all currently set Turbo functions on the controller. A vibration prompt will confirm the reset.
TURBO Speed Adjustment
The Turbo speed can be adjusted to three different gears:
- Gear 1: 5 consecutive shots per second.
- Gear 2: 12 consecutive shots per second.
- Gear 3: 20 consecutive shots per second.
Adjustment Method:
- Left Handle: Press the TURBO button + “-” key to increase the speed by one gear. Cycle through the three gears.
- Right Handle: Press the TURBO button + “+” key to increase the speed by one gear. Cycle through the three gears.
Lighting Control Instructions

- Monochromatic Light Mode:

- Check if any macro or Turbo functions are active that might be interfering. Try resetting the controller (if a reset button is available, otherwise power cycle). Ensure the controller firmware is up to date if applicable.
- Vibration not working:
- Check the vibration intensity setting using the Vibration Key. Ensure it's not set to 'Off'.
