3. Product Overview
3.1 Interface Diagram
Familiarize yourself with the ports and buttons on your DNXT C521 router:

- SIM card slot: Please insert a SIM card of the corresponding size.
- DC power interface: The device power interface, please use a matching power adapter.
- On/Off key: Press the power on button to pop up and shut down.
- Reset button: Press and hold the reset button for 5-8 seconds to release, and the device will restore production settings and automatically restart.
- WiFi key: WiFi function on/off.
- WPS key: Press to activate the WPS function.
- LAN interface: Used to insert network cables and provide wired network for other devices.
- WAN interface: Connect to the superior network through a network cable.
- Battery interface: Used to connect batteries.
3.2 LED Indicators
The front panel of the router features several LED indicators to show the device's status:
- POWER: Indicates power status.
- LAN: Indicates activity on the LAN ports.
- LTE: Indicates 4G LTE network connection status.
- WIFI: Indicates Wi-Fi function status.
- Signal Strength: Displays the strength of the 4G LTE signal.

4. Setup Instructions
4.1 SIM Card Installation
- Flip open the back cover of the device.
- Insert a standard size SIM card into the SIM card slot (1) as shown in the diagram. Ensure correct orientation.

4.2 Power Connection
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC power interface (2) on the router and plug it into a power outlet.
- Press the Power On/Off button (3) to turn on the device. The POWER LED indicator should light up.
4.3 Initial Wi-Fi Connection
- Once the router is powered on, wait for the LTE and WIFI LEDs to stabilize.
- On your phone or computer, search for the default Wi-Fi signal sent by the device (e.g., "LTE-WIFI_XXXX").
- Connect to this network using the default password found on the label at the bottom of the router.
4.4 Optional Battery Installation
For areas with frequent power outages, an optional battery can be installed to provide backup power.
- Open the back cover of the router.
- Connect the battery to the battery interface (9) inside the router.
- Close the back cover. The router will automatically switch to battery power if DC input is lost.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Connecting Devices
- Wireless Connection: Connect your Wi-Fi enabled devices (smartphones, laptops, tablets) to the router's Wi-Fi network using the SSID and password.
- Wired Connection: Use Ethernet cables to connect devices (PCs, smart TVs, gaming consoles) to the LAN interfaces (7) on the router.
- WAN Connection: If you have an existing wired internet connection (e.g., from a modem), you can connect it to the WAN interface (8) of the router.

5.2 WPS Function
The WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button (6) allows for easy and secure connection of WPS-compatible devices without manually entering the Wi-Fi password. Press the WPS button on the router, then activate WPS on your device within two minutes to establish a connection.
5.3 Resetting the Router
To restore the router to its factory default settings, press and hold the Reset button (4) for 5-8 seconds until the LEDs flash, then release. The device will restart automatically.
5.4 Wi-Fi On/Off
The Wi-Fi key (5) allows you to quickly turn the Wi-Fi function on or off. This can be useful for saving power or for security purposes when wireless connectivity is not needed.
6. Maintenance
- Placement: Place the router in a central location, away from obstructions and sources of interference (e.g., microwaves, cordless phones) for optimal Wi-Fi signal.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the router's exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
- Scheduled Restart: The router supports scheduled restarts, which can help maintain performance and stability over time. This feature can typically be configured in the router's web interface.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection:
- Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated.
- Verify that the LTE LED is lit and stable.
- Ensure your device is connected to the router's Wi-Fi or a LAN port.
- Restart the router by unplugging and replugging the power adapter.
- Check your SIM card's data plan and signal strength.
- Weak Wi-Fi Signal:
- Relocate the router to a more central position.
- Ensure there are no major obstructions (thick walls, metal objects) between the router and your devices.
- Check for interference from other electronic devices.
- Device Not Powering On:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the router and the power outlet.
- Verify the power outlet is functional.
- If using the optional battery, ensure it is charged and correctly installed.
- Forgot Wi-Fi Password:
- The default Wi-Fi password is printed on a label on the router.
- If you changed the password and forgot it, you may need to perform a factory reset (see Section 5.3) to revert to the default settings.
