5. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the power station and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Initial Charge: For optimal battery health, it is recommended to fully charge the AP400 before first use. Connect the AC charging cable to the AC INPUT port and plug it into a wall outlet. The LCD screen will indicate charging status.
  3. Check Battery Level: The LCD screen will display the current battery percentage.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Turning On/Off

  • To turn on the unit, press and hold the main power button (usually near the display) for a few seconds until the LCD screen lights up.
  • To turn off the unit, press and hold the main power button again until the LCD screen turns off.

6.2. Using AC Outlets

  1. Press the AC ON/OFF Button (6) to activate the AC output. The AC discharge icon (8) will appear on the LCD.
  2. Plug your AC-powered devices into the AC Output ports (7).
  3. Ensure the total power consumption of your devices does not exceed 500W.
  4. When finished, press the AC ON/OFF Button again to turn off the AC output.

6.3. Using USB-A and Type-C Outputs

  1. Press the USB ON/OFF Button (1) to activate the USB outputs. The USB-A discharge icon (10) and USB-C discharge icon (9) will appear on the LCD.
  2. Connect your USB devices to the USB-A ports (8) or Type-C port (9).
  3. When finished, press the USB ON/OFF Button again to turn off the USB outputs.

6.4. Using 12V DC Output

  1. Press the DC ON/OFF Button (4) to activate the 12V DC output. The DC discharge icon (12) and Cigarette Lighter icon (11) will appear on the LCD.
  2. Plug your 12V DC devices into the 12V DC Output port (5).
  3. When finished, press the DC ON/OFF Button again to turn off the DC output.

6.5. Wireless Charging

  1. Press the USB ON/OFF Button (1) to enable wireless charging.
  2. Place your Qi-compatible device on the wireless charging pad located on top of the unit.
  3. The charging icon will appear on your device's screen.

6.6. LED Light Function

  1. Press the dedicated light button (usually located near the light panel) to turn on the LED light.
  2. Press again to cycle through different brightness levels or modes (if available).
  3. Press and hold to turn off the light.

6.7. UPS Function (Uninterruptible Power Supply)

The AP400 features a professional-grade UPS function with a rapid switchover time of less than 10ms, protecting sensitive devices from power interruptions.

  1. Connect the AP400 to a wall outlet using the AC charging cable.
  2. Connect your sensitive devices (e.g., computers, servers, routers) to the AC Output ports of the AP400.
  3. In case of a power outage, the AP400 will automatically switch to battery power within 10ms, ensuring uninterrupted operation for your connected devices.

7. Recharging the Power Station

The CTOLITY AP400 can be recharged in four different ways:

7.1. AC Wall Outlet Charging

  1. Connect the AC charging cable to the AC INPUT port (2) on the power station.
  2. Plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.

  4. Charging time: Approximately 4 hours for 0-100% with 150W AC charging.

  2. Plug the other end into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket.

7.3. Solar Panel Charging

  1. Connect a compatible solar panel (12V~26V, 150W max) to the DC INPUT/OUTPUT port (3) on the power station.

9. Maintenance

  • Storage: Store the power station in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

  • Unit Not Turning On: Ensure the battery is charged. If not, connect to a power source and try again.
  • No Output from Ports: Make sure the respective output buttons (AC, USB, DC) are pressed and their indicators are lit on the LCD screen. Check if the device you are trying to power is within the power station's output limits.
  • Slow Charging: Verify that the charging cable is securely connected and the power source is functioning correctly. For solar charging, ensure the panel is in direct sunlight and clean.
  • Overload Protection: If the unit shuts down, it might be due to an overload. Disconnect some devices and restart the power station.
