Assembly Instructions:
- Attach the Ball-Head Magic Arm to the 6" Suction Cup Support using the integrated screw mechanism. Ensure it is tightened securely.
- Connect the Action Camera Mount to the other end of the Ball-Head Magic Arm. Use the flat wrench provided to ensure a firm connection.
- Your SmallRig Suction Cup Mount is now assembled and ready for attachment to a suitable surface.
4. Operation
Attaching the Mount:
- Ensure the target surface is clean, dry, and flat. Avoid rough, wet, uneven, or fragile surfaces.
- Remove the Suction Cup Dust Cover.
- Press the suction cup firmly against the desired surface.
- Repeatedly press the Air Pump Button until the red safety line indicator disappears. This indicates a strong vacuum seal has been achieved.
- Gently test the mount's adhesion before attaching your camera.

Adjusting Camera Position:
- Use the Ball-Head Magic Arm to adjust the angle and orientation of your action camera. Loosen the knob on the magic arm, position your camera as desired, and then tighten the knob to secure it.
Detaching the Mount:
- Locate the Release Tabs on the side of the suction cup.
- Gently pull the Release Tabs to break the vacuum seal. The suction cup should then easily detach from the surface.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the suction cup base and filter foam to ensure optimal performance. Use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use, always place the Suction Cup Dust Cover over the suction cup to prevent contamination and extend its lifespan.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the suction cup for any signs of damage or wear. Discontinue use if the suction cup or any component is compromised.
6. Troubleshooting
Loss of Suction:
- If the red safety line indicator becomes visible, it means the vacuum seal is weakening. Immediately press the Air Pump Button repeatedly until the red line disappears to restore full suction.
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and flat. Dirt, moisture, or unevenness can prevent a proper seal.
- Check the suction cup base and filter foam for damage or debris. Clean if necessary.
Mount Not Holding Securely:
- Verify that the surface is suitable (clean, dry, flat, non-fragile).
- Ensure the Air Pump Button has been pressed enough times for the safety line to disappear completely.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 3kg (6.6lb).
- Regularly check adhesion status (every 2 hours) during extended use, especially in dynamic environments like moving vehicles.
7. User Tips
- For critical applications, always perform a thorough adhesion test before mounting expensive equipment.
- When attaching to surfaces with protective films (e.g., car wraps), exercise caution as the suction may affect the film.
- Consider using a safety tether for your camera, especially when mounting in high-risk situations or on moving vehicles, as an additional precaution.
