5. Setup and First Use
5.1. Charging the Battery
The radio features a built-in 3.7V lithium battery. For first use, fully charge the device using the provided Type-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the DC 5V power socket (18) on the side of the radio and to a compatible USB power source.

5.2. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Long press the Power button (1).
- To Enter Standby (Clock Display): Short press the Power button (1) when the radio is on.
- To Power Off: Long press the Power button (1) from standby mode.
5.3. Antenna Adjustment
For optimal radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna (21). Adjust its position for the best signal clarity.
5.4. Using the Support Stand
The radio includes a built-in support bracket (22) on the back. Extend it to prop up the radio for stable placement on a flat surface.

6.1. Radio Reception

6.2. Tuning Methods

6.3. Volume Control

- Delete Station: In radio mode, long press the Delete key (14) to remove the currently saved radio station.

- Set Time: In clock standby mode, long press the Time setting key (10) to enter time setting mode. Use the numeric keys or TUN knob to adjust, then press Time setting key again to confirm.
- Set Alarm: In clock standby mode, long press the Alarm setting button (11) to set the alarm time. You can choose between an alarm sound or a radio wake-up. Short press the Alarm setting button (11) to turn the alarm on/off.

Short press the Sleep setting button (12) in radio mode to activate or deactivate the sleep function. This allows the radio to turn off automatically after a set period.
6.7. Keyboard Lock Function
Short press the Lock key (7) to enable or disable the keyboard lock function, preventing accidental button presses.
6.8. Headphone Use
Connect earphones to the Earphone jack (17) for private listening. The radio supports stereo headphone output.
