|---|---|
| No power/Radio won't turn on | Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the radio to a power source using the Type-C cable. Long press the power button to turn on. |
| Poor radio reception | Extend the rod antenna fully for FM/SW. For MW, try rotating the radio for better signal. Move away from electronic devices that may cause interference. |
| Buttons unresponsive | Check if the keyboard lock function is active (Lock key 7). Deactivate it if necessary. If still unresponsive, try resetting the device. |
| Display is blank or frozen | Try resetting the device by inserting a thin object (like a paperclip) into the Reset hole (23). |
| Sound distortion or static | Adjust the antenna and radio position. Tune to a stronger station. Ensure volume is not set too high, causing distortion. |
7.1 Resetting the Device
If the radio malfunctions or becomes unresponsive, you can perform a reset. Locate the Reset hole (23) on the device. Use a thin, pointed object (e.g., a paperclip) to gently press and hold the reset button inside for a few seconds. The device will restart.
8. User Tips
- For the best FM and SW reception, always extend the telescopic antenna fully.
- When using the numeric keypad for direct frequency input, ensure you are in the correct band (FM, MW, or SW) first.
- Utilize the ATS (Automatic Search) function to quickly find and store local stations when in a new area.
- The keyboard lock feature is very useful to prevent accidental changes to settings or stations, especially when carrying the radio.
- To save battery, turn off the radio completely when not in use, rather than leaving it in standby mode.
