3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Connecting the Mouse

  1. Locate the 8K receiver (GEM 8K for Ultimate/Extreme, New NANO 8K for Ultra Max) from the package.
  2. Plug the 8K receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch located on the underside of the mouse.
  4. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.

3.2 Charging the Mouse

The ATK X1 V2 Series mouse is equipped with a high-density battery for extended use. To charge the mouse:

  • Connect the provided 8K data cable to the mouse and to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  • Important: Always use the original data cable provided to charge the mouse for optimal battery health and safety.

3.3 Software Installation (ATK HUB 3.0)

For advanced customization, including DPI settings, button remapping, and macro creation, download and install the ATK HUB 3.0 software from the official ATK website. This software provides a new design for easier use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Use the physical switch on the underside of the mouse to turn it ON or OFF. This helps conserve battery when not in use.

4.2 DPI Adjustment

The mouse features a wide DPI adjustment range (10-30000 DPI, overclockable up to 42000 DPI). DPI settings can be changed via the ATK HUB 3.0 software. Some models may also have a dedicated DPI button for on-the-fly adjustments.

4.3 Programmable Buttons

Utilize the ATK HUB 3.0 software to customize the functions of the mouse buttons, assign macros, and create personalized profiles for different applications or games.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

The mouse features a new nano coating that is sweat-resistant, stain-resistant, and easy to clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the mouse. For stubborn stains, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the mouse's internal components.

5.2 Foot Pads

The mouse is equipped with high-content PTFE double-layer anti-sink foot pads for stable and comfortable control. These are designed for long-term durability. If replacement is needed, contact ATK support for genuine parts.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Connectivity Issues

  • Ensure the 8K receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port.
  • Verify the mouse is turned ON.
  • Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port.
  • If using a USB hub, try connecting directly to the computer.
  • Re-pair the mouse with the receiver if possible (refer to ATK HUB 3.0 software or user guide for specific instructions).

6.2 Performance and Latency

For optimal 8KHz usage experience and to prevent frame drops, ensure your computer meets the minimum recommended specifications:

6.3 Battery Not Charging / Short Battery Life

  • Ensure you are using the original 8K data cable for charging.
  • Try a different USB port or power adapter.
