5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Common Issues and Solutions

Q: Does the player have a resume function?
A: Yes, the player has a resume function and will continue playing from where it was last stopped, even if the device was turned off.
Q: Does it support gapless playback?
A: Due to configuration limitations, the device does not support gapless playback.
Q: Why are not all albums displayed if I have more than 140?
A: The player can display a maximum of 4000 music tracks under the 'Music' view. If you have more, you can view the complete list using the 'Folder' function. Titles are limited to 205 characters; longer titles will not scroll or display fully.
Q: Is the player compatible with iTunes?
A: No, it is not. You can transfer songs by dragging and dropping them into the player's folder or by using an SD card.
Q: Can I delete songs directly from the device?
A: You can delete songs one by one through the player's options. For bulk deletion, connect the device to a PC.
Q: Album cover image does not appear.
A: Ensure the album cover is in JPG format and its dimensions are 640x640 pixels or less. Larger or different format images will not display. You can use third-party tools like 'Kid3' to edit album art.
Q: Sound is too low when connected to speakers.
A: This often happens if the line level is not set correctly. Go to 'Play Settings', find 'Line Level', and set it to '0db' or '-6db' for optimal amplifier audio. The default is 'Volume synchronization'.
Q: Music files are not sorted alphabetically.
A: Music files are sorted by ASCII code rules (Chinese/Japanese first, then numbers, then A-Z). To sort alphabetically, you may need to rename track titles. For folder sorting, use the 'FATSorter' tool.
