5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean your mouse. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surface. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the internal components. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
5.2 Battery Care
The mouse is equipped with a 450mAh high-capacity battery. To prolong battery life:
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Charge the mouse when the battery indicator is low.
- Store the mouse in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
5.3 Receiver Storage
The USB dongle can be stored in a dedicated compartment on the underside of the mouse to prevent loss and protect it from dust when traveling or not in use.
6. Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding: Ensure the mouse is turned on and fully charged. Check the connection mode (2.4G, BT, Wired) and ensure the receiver is properly plugged in or Bluetooth is paired. Try connecting via USB-C cable to rule out wireless issues.
- Lag or erratic movement: Ensure the USB dongle is not obstructed and is close to the mouse. Avoid using the mouse on highly reflective or transparent surfaces. Check for interference from other wireless devices. Update mouse drivers and software.
- Charging issues: For L8 MAX, ensure the mouse is correctly seated on the magnetic charging dock and contacts are clean. For both models, try a different USB-C cable or USB port.
- Buttons not working: Check button assignments in the MACHENIKE software. Reset mouse settings to default if necessary.
