5. Setup

  1. Charge Batteries: Fully charge the bait boat battery (12V 20000mAh) and the remote control's built-in 3.7V 2400mAh lithium battery using the provided charging cables and charger. The bait boat charging time is approximately 12 hours.
  2. Install Propellers: Attach the propeller blades to the motors at the rear of the boat. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  3. Install Antenna: Screw the antenna onto the designated port on the bait boat.
  4. Install Remote Control Joystick Caps: Place the joystick caps onto the remote control's joysticks for comfortable operation.
  5. Attach Lanyard: Secure the lanyard to the remote control for added safety and convenience.
  6. Insert Bait Tank Partition Board: If you plan to use two different types of bait, insert the partition board into the bait tank to create separate compartments.
  7. Fish Finder Setup (if included):
    • Attach the fish finder probe to the boat using the eyebolts or designated mounting points.
    • Connect the fish finder antenna to the fish finder display unit.
    • Mount the fish finder display on the remote control stand or a suitable location for easy viewing.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Remote Control Functions

Familiarize yourself with the remote control layout (Figure 7) before operation:

  • Speed Adjustment Knob: Adjusts the boat's speed.
  • Left/Right Bait Tank: Buttons to release bait from the respective compartments.
  • Left/Right Hook: Buttons to release fishing hooks.
  • Lights / Cruise Control: Toggles navigation lights and activates/deactivates cruise control.
  • Left/Right Motor: Controls the individual motors for steering.
  • Calibration: Initiates boat calibration sequence.
  • Fishing Ground / Starting Point / Clear / Cancel: Buttons for GPS functions and clearing settings.
  • Directional Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK, Confirm): Used for menu navigation and precise boat control.

6.2 Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Turn on the remote control, then power on the bait boat. Wait for the devices to establish a connection.
  2. Load Bait: Open the bait tank covers and load your desired bait (up to 3kg total). Close the covers securely.
  3. Launch Boat: Carefully place the bait boat into the water.
  4. Navigate: Use the joysticks and speed adjustment knob on the remote control to navigate the boat to your desired fishing spot. The 4.3-inch display will show real-time information.
  5. Dispense Bait: Once at the desired location, press the 'Left Bait Tank' or 'Right Bait Tank' button to release the bait.
  6. Return Boat: Use the joysticks to manually guide the boat back, or activate the 'Intelligent Return System' by pressing the designated button (refer to your specific remote control manual for exact button). The boat will automatically return to its starting point.

6.3 Advanced Functions (GPS & Fishing Points)

  1. Set Fishing Points: Navigate the boat to a desired fishing location. Use the remote control's menu to save this as a fishing point. The boat can store up to 9 fishing locations, each with 20 positioning points.
  2. Navigate to Saved Points: Select a saved fishing point from the remote control's menu, and the boat will autonomously navigate to that location.
  3. Intelligent Return: The boat will automatically return to the set starting point if the battery is low, the remote signal is lost, or if it exceeds predefined safety limits.

6.4 Fish Net Solenoid Valve (if applicable)

If your model includes the fish net solenoid valve, you can attach a fishing net to the rear mechanism. Use the designated 'Net Release' button on the remote control to deploy the net with a single click.
