Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your temperature controller.
- Cleaning: Clean the front panel with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the unit.
- Probe Inspection: Periodically check the NTC probes for damage or corrosion. Ensure they are securely connected and properly positioned for accurate temperature sensing.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings on the unit are not obstructed to prevent overheating.
WARNING: Disconnect power to the unit before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
7. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display is blank | No power, incorrect wiring, internal fault. | Check power supply (230V~). Verify wiring connections (Terminals 4-5). If problem persists, contact support. |
| Incorrect temperature reading | Faulty NTC probe, incorrect probe placement, wiring issue. | Inspect NTC probes for damage. Ensure probes are correctly connected to terminals 6-7. Verify probe placement in the refrigerated area. |
| Controller not responding to button presses | Unit locked, internal fault. | Check if the unit is in a locked mode (refer to programming manual). Power cycle the unit. If issue persists, contact support. |
8. User Tips
- Probe Placement: For accurate temperature control, ensure NTC probes are placed in a location that truly represents the temperature of the refrigerated space, away from direct airflow or heat sources.
- Regular Checks: Periodically verify the displayed temperature against an independent thermometer to ensure calibration accuracy.
