4. Setup

The FL-Esports X80 offers three connection modes: Wired, 2.4G Wireless, and Bluetooth. Please select the mode that best suits your needs.

4.1 Wired Connection

1. Locate the USB Type-C port on the keyboard.
2. Connect one end of the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard and the other end to an available USB port on your computer.
3. The keyboard will be automatically recognized by your system. The charging indicator will light up if the battery is low.

4.2 2.4G Wireless Connection

1. Locate the 2.4G USB receiver (dongle) in the package.
2. Plug the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. On the back or side of the keyboard, locate the mode switch and set it to the '2.4G' position.
4. The keyboard should automatically connect. If not, press Fn + 4 (for 2.4G pairing) to initiate pairing.

4.3 Bluetooth Connection

1. On the back or side of the keyboard, locate the mode switch and set it to the 'BT' (Bluetooth) position.
2. The keyboard supports up to three Bluetooth devices. To enter pairing mode for a specific slot, press and hold Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 for 3-5 seconds until the corresponding indicator light flashes rapidly.
3. On your computer or device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
4. Select 'FL-Esports X80' (or similar name) from the list of available devices to pair.
5. Once paired, the indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
6. To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 briefly.

5. Operating Instructions

The FL-Esports X80 keyboard offers various functions accessible via the Fn key combinations and the multi-function knob.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps. For stubborn dirt, gently wipe keycaps with a damp cloth and mild soap solution, ensuring no liquid enters the keyboard.
• Keycap Replacement: Use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps. Pull straight up to avoid damaging the switch stem.
• Switch Replacement (Hot-Swappable): Use the provided switch puller to gently remove switches. Ensure the keyboard is disconnected or turned off before replacing switches. Align new switches carefully with the pins and press down until they click into place.
• Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. For long-term storage, charge the battery to around 50-70%.

7. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding (Wired): Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
• 2.4G Wireless connection issues: Ensure the 2.4G receiver is plugged in and the keyboard mode switch is set to '2.4G'. Try re-pairing by pressing Fn + 4. Ensure there are no strong interferences (e.g., other wireless devices) nearby.
• Bluetooth connection issues: Ensure the keyboard mode switch is set to 'BT'. Try re-pairing by holding Fn + 1/2/3. Remove the keyboard from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again. Ensure the keyboard battery is charged.
