1. Product Introduction
The iGPSPORT BSC100Max is a wireless GPS bike computer designed to track and display various cycling metrics. It features a 3.0-inch transflective screen for clear visibility in sunlight, multiple connection options for external sensors, and smart riding assistance features.

2. Setup
2.1. Charging
The device is powered by a built-in lithium-ion battery. Use a compatible USB-C charging cable to charge it via a power adapter or a computer USB port.
- Lift the weather cap from the USB port.
- Connect the USB charging cable.
- Charge the device completely.
- After charging, unplug the cable and close the weather cap to maintain waterproof and dust-proof performance.
Note:
- Use a DC 5V standard power adapter. Fast-charging adapters are not recommended as they may damage the battery.
- When the battery level is low, a low battery icon will be displayed in the upper right corner of the device's home page.
- Do not overstretch the USB weather cap.

The device offers up to 40 hours of battery life.
2.2. Pairing with iGPSPORT APP
Pairing your bike computer with the iGPSPORT APP enhances functionality and allows access to richer features.
First Pairing
- Open the iGPSPORT APP on your smartphone and log in.
- Place the bike computer near your smartphone. In the APP, tap "Add Device", select "Cycling Products", and the APP will search for BSC100Max.
- Select your device and tap "Connect".
- A 6-digit pairing code will appear on the bike computer. Enter this code into your phone and tap "Confirm".
- After successful pairing, the bike computer will appear in the device list.
- Follow the prompts in the APP to finish device settings and tap "Save and Sync".
- The device and smartphone will automatically connect via Bluetooth. If connection fails, restart smartphone Bluetooth, the iGPSPORT APP, or the bike computer.
Remove Pairing
To pair with a different smartphone, first remove the current pairing:
- When not recording, hold the right button to enter the settings page.
- When "E1" is flashing, press the left button to unpair the bike computer.
- After deletion, the bike computer will restart, and a Bluetooth Disconnected icon will be displayed.
Note:
- Pair the device using the iGPSPORT APP, not your smartphone's Bluetooth settings directly.
- Ensure your smartphone has internet access and Bluetooth is enabled.
- Download the iGPSPORT APP from the App Store or Google Play.
- For Android users, enable location permissions for the iGPSPORT APP.
- Avoid frequent pairing and unpairing.
2.3. Installation of Standard Bike Mount
Use the included rubber bands to attach the standard bike mount to your bike stem.
- Place the rubber disk on the back of the standard bike mount.
- Select a suitable place on the bike stem for the rubber disk and mount.
- Loop the two rubber bands around the bike stem, hook the buckle of the bike mount, and fix it.
- Align the tabs on the back of the device with the standard bike mount notches.
- Place the device on the bike mount and rotate it by 90 degrees to secure.
Note:
- It is recommended to use an iGPSPORT Standard Bike Mount or Out-Front Mount to avoid damaging the tab of the bike computer.

2.4. Connecting Sensors
The device supports connection to various external sensors like speed sensors, cadence sensors, heart rate monitors, power meters, and iGPSPORT smart lights.
- While not recording, hold the right button to enter the settings page.
- Press the right button to switch to the "E3" page.
- Press the left button to search for nearby sensors.
- Activate the corresponding sensor. It will automatically connect to the bike computer. Data appearing on the screen indicates successful connection.
- Hold the right button to save and exit the settings mode.
Note:
- Searching for sensors will clear any previously connected devices.
- Saved sensors will automatically connect once awakened.
- After replacing a sensor battery, you will need to search for and reconnect it.
- If multiple sensors of the same type are nearby, connect via the iGPSPORT app (iGPSPORT APP > Device > Sensor > Select by ID).

2.5. Wheel Size Settings
If you are using a speed sensor, you need to set the wheel size. The default wheel size is 2096mm.
- Hold the right button to enter the device settings mode.
- Press the right button to switch to the "E4" page.
- Press the left button to modify the wheel size.
- Press the left button again to switch digit positions, and press the right button to set the value.
- Hold the right button to save and exit.
Note:
- You can also set the wheel size in the iGPSPORT APP (iGPSPORT APP > Device > Sensor > Select the saved speed sensor).

2.6. Metric/Imperial Units
You can switch between metric (kilometers) and imperial (miles) units.
- Hold the right button to enter the bike computer's setting mode.
- Press the right button to switch to the "E5" page.
- Press the left button to modify the unit settings.
- Press the right button to switch between metric and imperial units.
- Hold the right button to save and exit.
Note:
- You can also set the measurement units in the iGPSPORT APP (iGPSPORT APP > Device > Device Settings > Other Settings > Unit Settings).
2.7. Total Riding Distance
You can set or reset the total riding distance.
- Hold the right button to enter the bike computer's setting mode.
- Press the right button to switch to the "E6" page.
- Press the left button to enter the total distance settings.
- Press the left button to switch digit positions and press the right button to set the value.
- Hold the right button to save and exit.
3. Operating
3.1. Pre-Riding
Before starting your ride, ensure the bike computer acquires satellite signals for accurate data.
- Go outdoors to an open space with the screen facing up.
- Wait for the device to acquire satellite signals. A flashing GPS signal icon indicates it's searching; a solid icon means satellites are found.
Note:
- Connecting with the iGPSPORT APP can significantly reduce positioning time.

3.2. While-Riding
Start Recording
- After receiving the satellite signal, press the left button to start recording your ride.
- A solid dot icon will appear in the top status bar, indicating recording is in progress.
Pause/Resume Recording
- During the ride, press the left button to pause the recording.
- A pause icon will appear in the top status bar.
- Press the left button again to resume recording.
Lap Function
- Double-tap the left button to count one lap. The screen will display lap data for 5 seconds before returning to the ride data page.
Switching Data Pages
- During the ride, press the right button to switch between data pages. By default, the device includes three cycling data pages.
- You can customize the number of pages and data fields via the iGPSPORT APP.
3.3. Post-Riding
Save Activity
- Hold the right button to end and save the activity.
- "SAVE" will appear on the screen when the activity is successfully saved.
Auto Sync
- If your smartphone is within Bluetooth range after the ride, the device will automatically connect and sync with the iGPSPORT APP (ensure auto-sync is enabled in the APP).
3.4. Advanced Features
Auto Pause/Start Recording
- Enabled by default. Configure in iGPSPORT APP > Device > Auto Settings > Auto Pause/Start Recording.
- You can manually set the threshold for auto pause/start.
Sunset Reminder
- Activates 30 minutes before local sunset. The sunset icon will flash three times, then stay lit.
- The icon disappears after sunset.
Note:
- The Sunset Reminder function only activates once a GPS signal has been acquired.
Page Settings
- Customize the number of pages and data fields through the iGPSPORT APP.
- In the iGPSPORT APP, go to Device > Page Settings > Current to view/modify pages and fields. Tap the edit icon to customize.
Smart Notifications
- Install the iGPSPORT app and pair with the bike computer to receive smart notifications.
- Incoming call notifications will display a flashing call icon and a sound alert.
Note:
- Smart Notifications keep Bluetooth active, which may increase battery consumption on both devices.
Activity Alert
- Enable in iGPSPORT APP > Device > Alert Settings.
- When a data value exceeds a preset threshold, the corresponding alert field will flash three times.
Smart Light Connectivity
- Establish a Bluetooth connection between the light and the bike computer (hold right button, go to E3 page, press left button to connect). Both front and tail lights are supported.
- View light's battery percentage (configure light battery field in advance).
- Switch light modes via the bike computer (iGPSPORT APP > Device > Other Settings > Button Function Settings > Switch Front/Tail Light Mode).

- Supported bike light models: Front Light: VS1800, VS1200, VS800S, VS800, VS500, VS1200S, VS1800S. Taillight: TL30, SRmini, ET6, TL50.

3.5. iGPSPORT APP
The iGPSPORT APP allows you to manage your device, view real-time activity data, plan routes, and share activities.
User Profile
- Precisely set your personal profile (weight, height, date of birth, gender) as these factors affect measurement accuracy (e.g., heart rate limits, calorie consumption).
- Configure settings like maximum heart rate, resting heart rate, FTP, and training intervals for speed, cadence, and heart rate.
Activity Data
- Access past and planned riding activity data, establish new training targets.
- Get overviews, detailed summaries, chart records, and statistical analysis of your performance.
Bike Computer Settings
- Set various features like adding, editing, and enabling data page views, and setting auto options and alerts through the APP.
Activity Sharing
- Share images and training data on social media (Facebook, Instagram).
- Share existing photos or take new ones, customizing with training data.
- Share a snapshot of your training route if you have a GPS record.

4. Maintenance
4.1. Firmware Update
To maintain optimal performance, update the firmware when a new version is available.
- The device automatically checks for firmware updates when connected via Bluetooth.
- Manually check for updates in the iGPSPORT APP > Device > Firmware Update.
- Updates may take up to 20 minutes depending on Bluetooth signal strength.
4.2. Battery Care
- Use only DC 5V standard power adapters for charging. Avoid fast-charging adapters.
- Charge the device fully when the low battery icon appears.
- Do not leave the device fully discharged for extended periods.
4.3. Waterproof Care
- Ensure the USB weather cap is properly closed after charging to maintain IPX7 waterproof and dust-proof performance.
- Avoid submerging the device in water for prolonged periods, despite its IPX7 rating.

IPX7 Waterproof: Reliable in all conditions, allowing you to ride fearlessly in any weather.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Device Not Powering On
- Ensure the device is sufficiently charged. Connect it to a power source using the provided USB-C cable.
- If the device is unresponsive, try holding the left button for an extended period (e.g., 10-15 seconds) to force a restart.
5.2. Pairing Issues with Smartphone
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the bike computer.
- Ensure your smartphone has an active internet connection.
- Restart the iGPSPORT APP, your smartphone's Bluetooth, or the bike computer.
- Confirm that location permissions are enabled for the iGPSPORT APP on Android devices.
- If pairing with a new phone, ensure the device is unpaired from any previous phone first (see Remove Pairing section).
5.3. GPS Signal Acquisition Problems
- Ensure you are in an open outdoor area with a clear view of the sky.
- The first GPS fix can take 3-5 minutes. Subsequent fixes should be faster.
- Connecting the device to the iGPSPORT APP can speed up GPS positioning.
- If the GPS icon is flashing, it is still searching for satellites. Wait until it becomes solid.
5.4. Sensor Connection Issues
- Ensure the sensor is active (e.g., spinning the wheel for a speed sensor, pedaling for a cadence sensor).
- Check the sensor's battery. Replace if necessary, then re-search for the sensor.
- If multiple sensors of the same type are nearby, use the iGPSPORT APP to select the correct sensor by its ID.
- Re-scan for sensors from the "E3" page in the device settings.
5.5. Data Sync Issues with iGPSPORT APP
- Ensure the bike computer is paired and connected to the iGPSPORT APP via Bluetooth.
- Verify that your smartphone has a stable internet connection.
- Check if the auto-sync function is enabled in the iGPSPORT APP settings.

- Pre-Ride GPS Fix: For the most accurate start to your ride data, always allow your device to acquire a full GPS signal outdoors before you begin. Connecting to the app can help speed this up.
