1. Introduction

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare your ABIR WD9 for operation:

  1. Inject Water: Use the provided water bottle to inject water into the robot's water tank.
  2. Connect Power and Safety Rope: Connect the robot to the power adapter and ensure the safety rope is securely fastened. The safety rope is crucial for preventing falls, especially when cleaning high or outdoor windows.
  3. Power On: Connect the power supply and turn on the robot. Press the one-click start button to begin.

3.1 Safety Precautions

The ABIR WD9 is equipped with a powerful safety protection system, including a 4-meter safety rope and a safety battery. In case of a sudden power cut, the robot can remain attached to the window for up to 30 minutes, allowing time for retrieval.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Modes

The robot can be controlled via a remote control or through a smartphone application (Tuya Smart or Smart Life APP) connected via Bluetooth.

4.2 Cleaning Modes

The ABIR WD9 offers 5 distinct cleaning modes to suit various needs:

  • Auto Cleaning Mode: Selects the most efficient path (Z/N or N+Z) based on window size for faster cleaning.
  • N Cleaning Mode: Robot starts with a "Z" path and performs a regular wipe once.
  • Z Cleaning Mode: Robot wipes with an "N" cleaning path and performs a regular wipe once.
  • Fixed-point Mode: The robot will wipe back and forth repeatedly with water spray in a specific area.
  • Edge Cleaning Mode: Cleans along the edge of the glass, actively targeting and deep-cleaning window edges to boost coverage to 99%.

4.3 Water Spray Function

The robot features an innovative 4-way water spray system with high-efficiency ultrasonic nozzles that atomize water. It can spray water in three directions (left, right, down) for effective stain removal. Water spray can be set to automatic or manual.

Note: When the machine moves upwards, it does not spray water to prevent slippage.

4.4 Smart Features

  • Smart Memory: The robot plans its cleaning path and returns to its starting point after completing the cleaning cycle, making it easy to retrieve.
  • Edge Detection: Advanced laser edge detection sensors allow the robot to accurately locate edges, prevent falling, and support cleaning of frameless glass.
  • Voice Prompt: The robot provides voice status reports, including warnings for insufficient water in the tank.
  • Floating Scraper Tech: Four floating scrapers conform tightly to windows, simultaneously scraping and wiping away stubborn water stains. For heavily soiled glass, pre-moisten the cleaning cloth (then wring thoroughly) before operation.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Pads

The robot uses high-quality microfiber cleaning pads with a special shape design for strong dust removal and great water absorption. These pads are recyclable and washable by machine.

5.2 Removable Atomizer

The atomizer is structurally designed for easy removal and cleaning from the outside without needing to remove the cover. This allows for quick 3-second replacement and faster cleaning of the atomizer.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Robot not spraying water: Check the water tank level. The robot provides a voice prompt if water is insufficient. Refill the tank using the provided water bottle.
  • Robot slipping or not adhering: Ensure the cleaning cloth is not overly wet, especially for heavily soiled glass. Pre-moisten the cloth and wring thoroughly before operation. The floating scraper system helps prevent slippage.
  • Robot losing power: The built-in UPS system provides approximately 30 minutes of backup power, allowing you to safely retrieve the robot in case of a power outage.
  • Robot not cleaning edges effectively: Ensure the laser border sensors are clean and unobstructed. The Edge Cleaning Mode is specifically designed for thorough edge cleaning.
