4.3 Report Rate Adjustment (with 4K Receiver)

When using the 4K wireless receiver charging dock, the mouse's report rate can be adjusted for ultra-low latency performance. This is typically done via the mouse's driver software.

  • Wireless (with 4K receiver): 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz, 4000Hz.
  • Wired: 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz.

Adjusting the report rate can significantly impact responsiveness, especially in competitive gaming. A higher report rate means the mouse reports its position to the computer more frequently.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the mouse body regularly.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution (avoid harsh chemicals).
  • Use a cotton swab or compressed air to clean dust and debris from crevices, buttons, and the sensor area.
  • Ensure the charging contacts on both the mouse and the dock are clean and free of obstruction for optimal charging.

5.2 Battery Care

The VALKYRIE M1 is equipped with a 400mAh rechargeable battery.

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
  • Charge the mouse using the provided Type-C cable or the wireless charging dock.
  • Do not expose the mouse to extreme temperatures, as this can affect battery performance.

5.3 PTFE Foot Stickers

The mouse uses PTFE (Teflon) foot stickers for smooth gliding. Over time, these may wear down. Replacement foot stickers are included in the package.

  • If you notice increased friction or uneven gliding, consider replacing the foot stickers.
  • Carefully peel off the old stickers and apply the new ones, ensuring they are clean and properly aligned.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Mouse Not Responding / Disconnecting

  • Check Battery: Ensure the mouse has sufficient charge. Connect it to the charging dock or via USB-C cable.
  • 2.4G Wireless:
    • Ensure the 2.4G receiver is securely plugged into a USB port.
    • Verify the mouse is in 2.4G mode.
    • Try a different USB port.
    • Move the receiver closer to the mouse or use a USB extender to reduce interference.
  • Bluetooth:
    • Ensure the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode and your computer's Bluetooth is enabled.
    • Remove and re-pair the mouse in your computer's Bluetooth settings.
    • Check for other Bluetooth devices causing interference.
  • Wired:
    • Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the computer.
    • Try a different USB port or cable.

6.2 DPI Not Changing

  • Ensure you are pressing the correct DPI button (refer to Section 4.1).
  • If using custom DPI settings, verify the driver software is running and settings are applied.
  • Restart the mouse and computer.

6.3 Charging Issues

  • Ensure the Type-C cable is properly connected to the charging dock/mouse and the power source.
  • Check that the charging contacts on the mouse and dock are clean and free of debris.
  • Try a different USB port or power adapter.

7. User Tips

  • Driver Software: For full customization of DPI, button assignments, and RGB lighting, download and install the official VALKYRIE M1 driver software. This is crucial for unlocking the mouse's full potential, especially for 4KHz polling rate and advanced DPI settings.
  • Polling Rate: If you experience stuttering or instability at 4000Hz, try lowering the polling rate to 1000Hz. Not all systems or games benefit equally from extremely high polling rates, and some may even perform better at lower settings.
  • Ergonomics: Take advantage of the lightweight and ergonomic design. Experiment with different grip styles (palm, claw, fingertip) to find what feels most comfortable and provides the best control for your gaming style.
  • Battery Life: While the 400mAh battery offers good endurance, consider placing the mouse on its charging dock when not in active use to ensure it's always ready for your next session.
  • Firmware Updates: Periodically check the official VALKYRIE website for firmware updates. These can improve performance, fix bugs, and add new features.

8. Warranty and Support

The VALKYRIE M1 Gaming Mouse comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering functional failures not caused by human factors.

For technical support, warranty claims, or further assistance, please contact your retailer or the manufacturer's customer service. Refer to the warranty card included in your package for specific contact details.
