4. Installation

The TR70 is designed for easy and secure mounting on various seatpost types.

4.1 Mounting the Device

  1. Select the appropriate rubber pad for your bicycle's seatpost (D-shaped, Aero, or standard round).
  2. Attach the mount to the seatpost using the selected rubber pad and secure it firmly.
  3. Slide the TR70 radar tail light onto the mount until it clicks into place. Ensure it is installed vertically for optimal radar performance.
  4. The quick-release system allows for easy attachment and removal.

5. Operation

5.1 Initial Activation

For first-time use, the TR70 needs to be powered on for activation. Press and hold the power button until the light illuminates.

5.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.

5.3 Light Modes

The TR70 offers 7 distinct lighting modes to adapt to various riding conditions. Cycle through modes by short-pressing the power button when the device is on.

  • Brake Warning: When you brake hard, the tail light automatically shines brighter to alert drivers behind you.
  • Approaching Vehicle Warning: The radar detects vehicles approaching from behind up to 140 meters away and flashes to alert drivers, enhancing your visibility.

6.1 Connectivity

6.2 CoospoRide App Features

Using the CoospoRide app, you can:

  • Toggle the Radar Switch on/off.
  • Enable/disable Auto Sleep mode.
  • Adjust Power Saving Mode settings.
  • Select and customize Tail Light Modes.
  • Perform Firmware Updates.
  • View real-time vehicle conditions.

6.3 Team Ride Mode

For group rides, the TR70 supports a Team Ride Mode where multiple lights can flash in sync, enhancing group visibility and cohesion.

7. Charging & Battery Life

The TR70 is powered by a rechargeable battery and charges via a Type-C port.

7.1 Charging Instructions

  • Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the TR70's charging port.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to a standard USB power adapter (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  • A charging indicator light will show the charging status.
  • Important: Avoid using fast charging devices, as this may damage the battery or shorten its lifespan.

7.2 Battery Life

The battery life varies depending on the selected light mode. The "Only Radar" mode offers the longest endurance, up to 40 hours.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the TR70 in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to maintain battery health.
  • Waterproof: The device is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, avoid prolonged submersion and ensure the charging port cover is securely closed.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Avoid using fast chargers.

  • First-Time Use: Remember to power on the device for initial activation.
  • Charging Best Practice: Always use a standard USB charger and avoid fast charging devices to prolong battery life.
  • Brake Light Control: If you wish to disable the brake light alert, check the settings within the CoospoRide smartphone application.
