1. Product Overview

The A-OK AM35 6/28 Smart Blinds Tubular Motor is designed for automated control of rolling shutters and blinds. 3. Installation and Setup

3.1 Tube Compatibility and Adapters

The motor is compatible with various tube types and sizes. Ensure you select the correct crown and drive adapter for your specific tube. If you already have rolling tubes, carefully check their size and inner structure against the diagrams provided. Adapters are provided based on your chosen tube type.

3.2 Wiring Diagram

The motor requires a 230V AC power supply. Ensure proper wiring according to the diagram below. The RF433 signal cable is also present.

3.3 Tuya Zigbee Hub Requirement

For the Zigbee version (AM35-6/28-MEL-PZ), a Tuya Zigbee Hub (Wireless Gateway) is required to enable APP control and voice control features.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Programming (by RF Remote)

There are two methods for initial programming:

  1. Method 1: Press and hold 'Up' button for 3 seconds. Power on the motor. Motor jogs once. Press 'Up' button. Motor jogs once, programming finished.
  2. Method 2: Press 'Program button' on the motor for 1 second. Motor jogs once. Press 'Up' button. Motor jogs once, programming finished.

4.2 Change Direction

Press 'Stop' button of the programmed transmitter for 5 seconds. Motor jogs once. Press 'Down' button. Motor jogs once and the direction is changed.

4.3 Limit Position Setting

The motor supports a maximum of six limit positions: the UP limit, DOWN limit, and four middle limits. The first limit position (UP or DOWN) must be set first, and all other limits must be set within these boundaries. Limits can be fine-tuned but not individually deleted (except the first limit position). The motor stops at the next limit position after accepting UP/DOWN order. If no action is taken within 30 seconds, the motor will exit limit position preparation automatically.

First Limit Position Setting:

  1. Press the PROG button of the programmed transmitter for 1 second. Motor jogs once to enter limit setting preparation.
  2. Move the motor to the expected position. Press 'Up' to set the UP limit position as first limit, or 'Down' to set the DOWN limit as first limit.
  3. Press the back PROG button for 1 second to keep the limit position. Motor jogs once and the limit setting is finished.

Other Limit Position Setting:

  1. Move the motor to the expected position and then press STOP.
  2. Press back PROG for 1 second. Motor jogs once to enter limit setting preparation.
  3. Press back PROG for 1 second to keep the limit position. Motor jogs once and the limit setting is finished.

Limit Position Fine-tuning:

  1. When the motor runs to the limit position that needs fine-tuning, press back PROG for 1 second to enter setting condition.
  2. Motor jogs once to enter limit setting preparation.
  3. Adjust to the expected position and press STOP.
  4. Press back PROG for 1 second to keep the limit position. Motor jogs once and the limit fine-tuning is finished.

Delete Limit Position:

The first limit position cannot be deleted individually. To delete other limit positions:

  1. When the motor runs to the limit position that needs to be deleted, press back PROG for 7 seconds.
  2. Motor jogs once, the preset limit position is deleted.

4.4 Dot Move and Continuous Move Conversion

Press 'Stop' of the programmed transmitter for 5 seconds. Motor jogs once. Press 'Stop' button. Motor jogs once to confirm the conversion.

4.5 Add New Transmitter

Press 'Stop' of the programmed transmitter for 5 seconds. Motor jogs once. Press 'Up' of the new transmitter. Motor jogs once, new programming finished.

4.6 Delete Single Channel Memory

Press 'Stop' of the programmed transmitter for 5 seconds. Motor jogs once. Press back PROG for 1 second. Motor jogs once, single channel deleted.

4.7 APP Control (Tuya)

  1. APP Download: Scan the QR code to download the Tuya APP.

  3. Device Setup:
    a. Click 'Add Device' or click the '+' in the upper right corner.
    b. Click 'small home appliance' on the left.
    c. Click the 'curtain'.
    d. Select 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, enter the device-Binding Wi-Fi password, Click 'Confirm'.
    e. Short press motor 'PROG' button 4 times and then long press 3 seconds at the fifth time to enter the distribution network mode. (When press the motor 'PROG' button the fifth time, motor will jog once at the first second, then jog once at the third seconds). Click 'Make sure the indicator lamp is fast flashing'.
    f. Waiting for the network configuration to complete. (Motor jog twice during the connection process means that the Wi-Fi configuration is successful but not connected to the router; the motor jog once when it connected to the router and connected to the cloud).
    g. After the configuration is complete, you can modify the device name, and click 'Finish'.
