- Lossy: MP1, MP2, MP3 (VBR, CBR), AAC (LC), WMA (STD), OGG Vorbis, MS-ADPCM (IMA)
- Lossless: FLAC (Compression Levels L0-L10 & profiles: fast, normal, high), APE (Normal, High, Extra-High - *Extra-High requires file version 3970-3990*), WAV/PCM, AIFF, ALAC, WMA Lossless, DSF, DFF (DSD)
Important Format Notes:
- OGG Vorbis: Only supports files encoded with Floor1 Type, WindowSize <=2048, and effective dynamic codebook <32Kbyte.
- APE (Extra-High): The player supports Monkey's Audio (APE) files only if encoded with version 3970-3990. Files created with older or newer encoders may not play.
- WAV/PCM: Supports bit depths of 8, 16, 24, 32 bits. Does not support "insane" profiles.
General Note: Ensure your audio files are within the supported sample rate and bitrate ranges as listed in the specifications. Unsupported codecs or parameters within a container (like specific OGG types) will cause playback failure.
5. Maintenance
General Handling
- Keep the player dry. Avoid exposure to rain, moisture, or liquids. It is not waterproof.
- Do not use the player in environments with high humidity or dust.
- Clean the player with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the player to strong impacts.
6. Troubleshooting

Q: My computer doesn't recognize the M33 when plugged in.
- Try a different USB cable and/or USB port on your computer.
- Ensure the player is powered on.
- Check if the player needs to be set to "Storage Mode" or "File Transfer Mode" in its settings after connecting.
Q: Some of my music files won't play.
- Verify the file format is supported (see Section 4 & Notes). Check the specific encoding parameters (especially for OGG, APE Extra-High, FLAC level).
- Try converting the file to a different supported format (e.g., FLAC level 8 or MP3).
- Ensure the file is not corrupted. Try playing it on your computer.
Q: Can I connect the M33 to my phone to play Spotify/Apple Music/YouTube?
- No. The M33 cannot receive audio from phones or computers. It only sends audio to Bluetooth headphones/speakers. You must transfer music files directly to the M33. The M33 does not have Wi-Fi or streaming app support.
Q: The battery drains quickly.
- Lower the screen brightness and set a shorter screen timeout.
- Turn off Bluetooth if not in use.
- Playing high-resolution lossless files (FLAC 24/192, DSD) consumes more power than MP3s. Volume level also impacts drain.
- Ensure you are using a proper 5V/1A charger. Weak chargers may not fully charge the battery.
Q: Lyrics aren't showing.
- Ensure you have an .lrc file with the EXACT same name as the song file (e.g., My Song.mp3 and My Song.lrc).
- Ensure the .lrc file is in the same folder as the song file.
7. Safety Precautions
Battery Safety
- Use only the specified charger (5V/1A). Using incompatible chargers can cause fire, explosion, or damage.
- Do not expose the player or battery to extreme heat (e.g., direct sunlight, fire, heater) or cold.
- Do not puncture, crush, disassemble, or modify the battery.
- If the battery leaks, swells, emits odor, or becomes hot, discontinue use immediately and place it away from flammable materials. Dispose of it properly according to local regulations.
Hearing Safety
- Avoid listening at high volume levels for extended periods, especially with earbuds or in-ear headphones. This can cause permanent hearing damage.
- Be cautious of your surroundings when using headphones; do not use in situations where you need to be aware of ambient sounds (e.g., traffic, machinery).
Disposal
Dispose of the player and its battery according to your local electronic waste (e-waste) recycling regulations. Do not dispose of in household trash.
8. User Tips
- For optimal battery longevity, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Charge it when the battery level is low.
- When not in use, turn off Bluetooth to conserve battery life.
- Consider using a high-quality external amplifier for even better audio experience, as the player supports external amplifiers.
